Yes, thanks from me too. I don't have time right now to read the transcript of the call, so your summary was very helpful. Will try to go through the transcript in the w/end.
I'm in ARNA too. Got in at $1.56. Got in before approval. Approval is the key. I think once we get it here we'll see a decent move up. GLTA.
Well, you can do what you think best of course and good luck with whatever decision you make. Me, I'm just going to revel in the knowledge that my DD was correct in picking ARNA above the others - and that none of the s*** that was slung around since then ever tempted me to change my mind. It's a sweet feeling to watch ARNA's move steadily higher these days and watch VVUS move to where it belongs.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Well, in fairness, he was (kinda) right if you consider past performance but as any decent investor knows; past performance isn't always a good indicator for future performance. All other signs pointed to this being 'the one', the breakthrough report...and it was. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. If you held (I did) then you're the winner today. Congrats to all longs!!
Well, I don't know if I'm going to hold all my shares for years - but there was definitely NO WAY I was going to sell prior to this earnings report. Nice to see they delivered this time!!!
One can only hope that awareness and confidence will increase and the s/p will rise.
That's the only thing that will keep it up. Everyone's counting on it this time. I think if they can't deliver it now then we're looking at a drop for sure. I sure hope not as I'm long for some time now and it's certainly interesting to see how ZNGA shot up on positive news (and is staying up). Maybe it's our time too! :-)

Yeah, but each time they come back to the well there's less water for them to drink - and in the meantime VVUS continues to drop with NO HOPE or recovery. It's at $8 - and heading down. Now that's the REAL sad story. The MM's and the rest can muck about here all they want but their days are numbered, nothing surer!!
Sentiment: Strong Buy
I suppose in hindsight calling it an 'article' might have been a bit too generous! :-) In any case, it was enough to put it back on the radar for me. I actually went back and dug up my old notes and I see I came across it first in 2011 when it was trading around $3.30. I see I listed a low of $1.70 at one point, which is probably why it fell off my radar.
Funny how the mind can play tricks on you because when I checked back in the other day I thought $2.20 was high and it had gotten away from me.
I realise it's not a dividend aristocrat but based on its history I think there's a reasonable chance there will be a payment, and a reasonable one, this year too. I didn't go all in and might pick up some more after the dividend has been paid and the scenario you've described above has played itself out.
Thanks for your reply. I see you like to write! :-)
I'm new to APPY. Only heard about it recently and was sad to watch it move up on me over the last week or so. I used today's 'shenanigans' to get in at a reasonable price. I think I agree with bestinvestor14 (about it being #2) if you see today's volume and how it's being kept in a fairly tight range. Looks like someone loading up to me (and it's not me because I'm in already)! :-)
OK, now that you've asked! :-) The thing is, I didn't want to mention it because I've done that in the past (passed info on to a message board if the stock has been recommended by a service I subscribe to) and some guys go nuts accusing me of pumping, advertising a service, etc.) so now I mostly keep my mouth shut.
Anyway, the article I mentioned came via a free newsletter. However, I've seen other stuff from the guy who wrote the article and he seems pretty good. If you type "5 Tech Stocks With Electric Dividend Yields" written by james Brumley into Google you should be able to find the article.
...and by the way, I've just put my money where my mouth is and bought some MNDO (at $2.10), so wish me luck with those, ok! :-)
