Its as though the pitchforked, torch carrying crowd has surrounded Client9-ers castle seeking retribution for the years of crapola issued on this board.....anyone have a bucket of water, it worked for Dorothy!
Option activity seems rather high in SD and WLL, not so in KOG.......in fact, SD is very active in the 6 & 7 range nearly every month thru Jan '14 !
It seems possible someone is trying to lock in a low price for themselves on as much stock as they can in order to reduce the boggie for a buyout ---OR----lest we all forget there are more than a few hedge-meisters positioned in SD and option activity should be expected.
However, the operative fact here is that Repsol and SD already know eachother......one way to see the books whenever you want is to become partners! Of course the JV books.....BUT....Repsol can see what SD is doing....elsewhere........because it impacts SD regarding the Partnership......I assume Repsol and SD established covenants surrounding the JV and anything and everything from eachothers home office that could impact the JV which of course, takes their knowledge beyond merely the JV.
I am not holding my breath but Repsol makes more sense than anyone else out there right now......of course sometimes rumors like this bring the wolves out of the forest (so to speak) who want the prey (SD) for themselves and a bidding war follows!
Nice scenario! I hope it happens! All of course, IMHO and nothing more!
is that it's critics rarely ever focussed on anything but management! It was rare to hear anyone chappenge SD on its assets. Today we learn that the Woodford and Miss. may have more, no, MUCH MORE potential than was originally thought.
It has been fun to watch this turn around get some legs! It appears that SD might be very undervalued which means ANALysts are going to finally come around and of course this will occur after the party is well under way in the 7 to 8 (PPS) range......and then those HERDs of momentum players will begin piling on!
While SD is a nice value short term regarding a buyout....it may be worth MUCH MORE.....if assets in ground surprise like has been hinted at of late by the likes of Motley and others.
Hey SHORTs, NAYSAYERS, and SD haters.............UP YOURS! LMAO! Oh and all the above IMHO of course!
In addition to what others have said, alot of big money/hedgies got their heads handed to them at/on/and after the IPO.....I think some are locking in some proft....and likely rolling some over to the Twitter IPO.....this may prove to be a nice buying opportunity for those who wouldn't touch FB for various reasons only to watch FB retrace its downward spiral UPWARD and beyond AND
......alot of nice upgrades which I think are rather conservative but hey, at least the arrow is pointed upward now!
All IMHO of course............
Chicken!!!!!!! IMHO of course and SOON from what I understand!
Had a flatbread chicken sandwich today w/honeymustard, very good...thought the portion was too small until I started eating it! It's just right!
LOVE the PBCheeseburger! Think I'll love the PBChicken as well! YOWZA!
That would be great! i never set and forget, I think FB too will face more competition as others inch in on their acreage! However, FB has shown they are willing to fight for what they have AND, more importantly, what they want!
I hope ten years from now we are all very happy with FB but alot can happen along the way! Todays players have the added benefit of watching what happened to AOL and MSFT.....who both became far less relevant than they once were when they ruled the tech landscape.
Always watch your stock is my rule,,,looking for changes, relevancy, new tech innovations anda list of other variables.....and, while I hope FB is a grandslam, only time will tell! FB can keep itself relevant by leading the innovation landscape but again, only time will tell!
Now having babbled on long enough, this is all only IMHO!
welcome to the 1990s when EMAIl and INSTANT MESSAGING were EVERYTHING! Few had PCs, a run of the mill PC could cost you 4k, I remember paying 4.5k once!
I'm not sure if the the government got imvolved or if AOL sold rights to others to enter the email/IM stage but THEY DID! As I recall, some developed their own technology and AOL would not let it become seemless with their own and thats when the FCC got involved.....i could be wrong but thats what I seem to remember!
So the question becomes this, whats it going to take for someone else the enter the TWITTER universe? I THINK FB is close, maybe they are already there and I suspect little known companies like MSFT, GOOG, HPQ.....and a host of others want in on the action too, to some degree.
Therefore, one has to wonder how relevant TWITTER is in a couple years? As relevant as maybe AOL or MSFT today? LMAO! Not to belittle MSFT or AOL but they definately had their DECADE+ in the sun while now, resting in their sunset.
Twitter is the mere comment and FB is the complete story in my view! I expect alot of glitz about TWITTER leading up to the IPO.....at primarily, (for all the wrong reasons) the expense of FB but frankly, ultimately, these fragments mobile tech capabilities will all merge into a choice of utility, just like you can choose Verizon or AT&T for instance. Again if so, then FB is the full story and twitter, merely the appliance! all IMHO of course!
