Yes, I believe so though if memory serves, when I asked if it was 1000 island decades ago, i was told it is sinilar to 1000 island.
Way back when, when MCDs brought the Big Mac to market, I was a teenager and the BIG MAC was the king of the burger patch! I remember asking for MAC sauce even when I was just ordering a few cheeseburgers...and MCDs obliged! Wow, what a tasty cheeseburger(s) experience that was........later...like within a year, I was told MCDs could no longer offer up only MAC SAUCE for those wanting it. of course this was back in MCDs discovery/growth period during the pinnacle of the Boomer generation and then over the next 30 years of Boomer/Family consumption via the DRIVE-THRU which it seems lasted up to the 10 cheeseburgers for 10 bucks era of the late 1990's and I think MCDs started it's slide soon after, when animal rights groups stood outside Drive-Thru's trying to embarrass those buying burgers.
This gace way to MCDs shift toward a more healthy....menu with broader choices salads...etc., etc.
I believe this is when MCDs really tried to change with the changing times and forgot the BURGER , shake, and fries is WHY people primarily went to MCDs.....now coffee/smoothies have added but everything else......is little more than INVENTORY cost IMHO......... .
Sorry for the diatribe.....it's interestting to see other burger places succeed while MCDs has it's head in the sand...fat, dumb, and happy..................oops......it's been awhile for even that feeling in Oakbrook, I'm sure....................MCDs made one very HUGE mistake in the restaurant business and that is it's attempt to become EVERYTHING to EVERYONE. In the process, they have even lost the Burger Mongers.........and thus, MCDs has given birth to it's own competition Nationwide as the ole burger shack tpe Mom and Pop caliber/quality/tasting Burger has proliferated thanks to boring ole MCDs offering. Even their new burgers look like gray hockey pucks half the time!
No contest and THAT is what is wrong with the burger patch in general. In-N-Out serves BURGERS only...in fact they have only 3 combo meals, the double-double, chesseburger, and hamburger.
Go check the drive-thru lines at ANY big BURGER CHAIN and compare to In-N-Out Burger..................oh and an ABSOLUTE IGNORANCE of demographic consumerism............IE BOOMERS are dying...they NEED HEALTHY...and where a trip to MCDs may have been a almost weekly routine, and for some nearly daily routine while on the road etc.// today (?), well today I find myself at MCDs at best, about once per quarter.........

Don't own any UPS ...(or any sector players) ....never have...never will, too key nonstandard variables like oh, unpredictable FUEL and LABOR costs etc. make it easy to look elsewhere.
When cable was the new kid on the block DECADES ago, it could do no wrong. People complained about not yet having cable and this mile after mile of cable erected nationwide.
Today the chemistry has changed. Cost to the consumer do nothing but go up. Cable adds a few consumer sales channels, maybe a new church channel and says hey look, we're going you more now!
Here comes the rub, the consumer knows what he/she wants and what is not wanted. In fact cable channels have loaded up SO MUCH FILLER that the consumer is actually angry enough now to cut or shave the cord if you will. I mean why are the costs up so high when the average consumer will probably say there are really only about 40 channels they want to watch and can live without the rest.
So now we see the mobile wave taking shape where the Charter's of the world say hey, now you can take it with you! Gee......so I can watch at work and get fired? So I can watch it while waiting at the DRs office for my turn? ONCE or twice per year? Or so I can go to a football game...and watch yet another game on mobile? I mean gee, thats great....it helps folks NOT ENJOY THE MOMENT or the company they are with but instead, to follow their bet! LOL!
I think the consumer has made the message loud and clear, thus the birth of cables competition like NFLX, Sling Tv, Amazon's prgram....I mean the lineup roster is getting longer everyday!
The net effect is that pirces, will indeede come down because with choice, competion forces change!
Cable though once LOVED by the consumer has built a confrontational relationship with it's own customer base and has been able to do so because for over 30 years now, it has been a protected species with little to no competition.
Cable keeps adding meaningless fluff to its channel lineup saying YOUR WELCOME and the customer is saying see ya! Oh well !!!!

I have seen it happen time and time again because leadership has NO IDEA how to co-exist regarding the financial operation of whatever business/industry/corporation they have wedged themselves into and if Detroit doesn;t spell that out for you and others, than nothing will.
Union costs PREVENTED the auto industry from keeping up with the competition. IE, Auto majors in detroit had to compute labor costs/benefits which always increased...and lock in contracts for something as simple as a fricking turn signal arm on your steering column!
This actually happened! BMW and Mercedes had multi-function on their turn signal arm for ALMOST two decades before the US auto industry! IE turn signal, brights, window washer etc. This technology was adopted by BMW/Mercedes in the early 1970's and didn't appear in US auto's until IN ONLY SOME CASESthe late 1970's and 1980's.
Something so SIMPLE and it illustrates the IMPACT opf having a growing financial burdeb from UNION BOSS IDIOTS who can;t even balance their own personal checkbook and as I have stated many times over and again, their Daughter's still got to go to college. Labor itself couldn;t afford to even pay their mortgages and LOST EVERYTHING...and forget about sending little Susan to college if your were frontline labor in the auto industry when it finally died.

UPS shows ONCE AGAIN, much like Detroit did years ago...like the textile industry did decades ago...and like everyother cost laden industry with union labor.
The problem is education. Simply put, union leadership does not know how to balance a checkbook. Worse yet, they could care less if their added cost to operate cast upon the host or company drives it into the ground.
Who won in Detroit? Union bosses, their Daughter's still got to go to college, they didn;t have to sell their Lake Michigan beach house but poor labor types, they lost EVERYTHING. Even white collar types lost their jobs.
Now once again, we see the fault line created by having an intermediary chain of command, that being the Unions, and the poor labor type voting for more and more benefits only to end up in the monetary dumpster in the end.
Shame on UNIONS who seem best at representing themselves at the leadership level but as for everyone else, they LOSE......every single time....and history validates as much.

Wahtsapp now has 700 million+ users (and growing) who each ay a annual subscription fee of a dollar.....this is of course at some point, a bigger revenue maker. But setting that aside, Instagram is breaking the sound barrier at warp speed as I understand it and it seems OOPS, monetization has alot of room to grow.
Back to FB....roughly 25% of the world is using it....as was stated on yahoo finance article....and monetization of FB is an ongoing/evolving process.
AAPL blew expectations out of the water, well above and beyond ANALyst expectations.....which might also mean a few more FB users might have been gained....hmmmmmmm....gee I wonder....!? Oh and no currency slam on AAPL........................hmmmmmmmmmm..............oh and sporting events, the holidays, National Weather Reports crying wolf over polar dips in recent months........... .
I suppose what I am getting at is that the stock price seems to be held in check as though someone thinks earnings and forecast will be lackluster. But I have to say, the NAYSAYERS have not been correct YET! Um I think naysayers have somehow chosen to ignore the fact that FB is in GROWTH MODE and will likely remain there for some time to come...since it is afterall, the pioneer cutting the path that others are FORCED to follow! Agree...regardless of where oil goes looking forward, NG is the future. SW Gas was bought out, that leaves CHK is the next biggest independent player. IMHO.....cleaning up the balance sheet serves shareholders well going forward regardless of whether or not CHK is bought out.
You mean the OIL drop isn't due to over production and reduced demand? We see growing conversion from heating oil / electric (residential) and coal (power stations) to NGas which is an accelerating dynamic . Increasing fleet of EVs, growing conversion from gas to NGas amongst many municipal and commercial fleets as well as the Transpo/industry have anything to do with the drop in oil demand?
OIL was artifically HIGH due to the likes of the Oil Cartel in the M.East and RUSSIA , Venez. and other ENEMIES of the US!? The Cartel is GONE, the tide has turned, they will NEVER dicate oil prices again, EVER.
Having said that, there is another new dynamic, it started yesterday in France, the outrage of this Islamowhacko attack has traction and I believe it is the start of rebuilding relations between current enemies. You see Russia and China have this Islamowhacko problem as does the rest of the world frankly. Ironic that the wave if Islamic Terror could unite a divided world toward a common enemy/goal !!! With this will come certain economic cooperation addressing debt and other monetary issues. Of course demand for energy will also go up.
I don't expect the above hypoethesis to happen overnight but in the meantime, I don't see markets adding to the problem not with the acceleration of innovation in so many areas including tech, communications, entertainment (AAPL TV) war against CABLE, commerce ( IE AAPL pay), BIO.....etc., to name a few.
When OIL prices go DOWN, consumption goes up. Consumption of EVERYTHING due to greater disposable income. Employment is increasing, prices that have gone up so dramatically due to higher oil prices will begin to settle and likely come down. Produce/Agri./livestock feed...etc., etc. Everything that relies on ENERGY in any way, will come down in cost. Lower prices are here to stay short of manipulation. AND If I am wrong and prices go up....well then, we're both wrong! Sorry to bable...too much caffeine! LOL!
He was positive on the apps announcement recently but asked whats next with aapl which is the same question doubters have been asking for the last 24 months.
Wearables are on the way, AAPL Tv is likely to make more inroads, and improved current tech. Perhaps too, a meaningful purchase?
I have no clue and I'm confident that Blodgett doesn't either.
One thing is certain, APPL has once again, made investors alot of money over the last 24 months while these boobirds have been ehausting the same doubt! Oh well, time will tell !
