They say "......the sun don't shine on the same dogs #$%$ everyday" but it has been shinging on SDs for years now.......it's time for the sun to stop shining where it don't belong and for SD to reach for the STARS!
...and I for one, think it will! IMHO...............
or almost over, so the willy nillies who are getting squeezed by the IRS and needing cash are just about to see the door close!
GOOG tomorrow and FB on the 23rd....I expect we see an end to the Share Price bloodshed and a strong reversal setting a new trend going forward. This DIP has been a manmade, media amplified scenario and to be sure, some prices were fairly FAT. However, one must differentiate between MOMO and GROWTH! Simply put, GROWTH can also be GROWTH and FB is one such example IMO!
All of the above IMHO and nothing more........
Sentiment: Strong Buy
PCLN is a direct route for me when I make travel plans and I THINK my searches are on PCLN, not GOOG. The timing of such a statement from a CEO such as PCLN, right before earnings has to raise some eyebrows. What is his motivation!? Is he trying to somehow get FB to change something it does or does not do? Or has he SHORTED FB and wants to throw some tar on Zuckerberg's action.
One thing is certain, both PCLN and GOOG face many more threats to their kingdom's today than ever before and that threat grows both in number of entities chipping away at their foundations as well as innovations and frankly, a growing anti-big company culture. So much so that when people are given a choice of search or now travel, out of spite, statements made by the PCLN CEO, can lead to a voluntary (if not insistant) migration away fro PCLN and/or GOOG.
But hey, its his show! So go for it PCLN ! I'm going to start looking elsewhere. If a CEO can act this irresponsible with his words, I wonder at what he is capable of by deed.
What about the NSA? Can anyone cliam the NSA doesn;t have users data? Whats to stop the NSA from selling such data? I mean Snowden could have and NO ONE would know any different!
FREEDOM has been turned into FREE-DUMB by this administration.
Say what!? The question is, R U real? Your posts seem to be a version of Little Ms Can't be Wrong, Negative Ninney!
I love watching Zuckerberg WHIP IT on analysts, naysayers, Wall Street, and SHORTs to name a few! More and more.....I get the feeling that Zuckerberg is to FB what JOBs was to AAPL and like JOBs, by the time naysayers and Wall Street decide Zuckerberg is the real deal, the stock will have doubled its range from where it is today.
I don't get it BUT.....hey those other negative ninneys I mentioned above, create opportunities! All IMHO of course.......
All IMHO of course but hey, with more mobile users on social than anyone else, gee, i wonder if FB could make any money on MOBILE PAYMENTS? LMAO! GOOOOoooooo FB !!!!!!! All IMHO of course..
are rich after earnings! Gee Wally, me thinks the options boys-n-girls are anticipating a bit of a jump after earnings! Does this mean the NAYSAYING Hacks believe FB may surprise? I guess time will tell! In the meantime, those SHORTs and naysayers are experiencing a sweaty trigger finger fearing FB will roll yet another upside surprise................tick, tock, tick, tock! Time is a TWITCHING! OOPS! I mean clicking!
I think Fb blows away expectations and makes as outrageous a move to the upside as it has over the last few weeks to the downside! ALL IMHO and we will see, real soon here!
The MLP can be on its own, once approved by the IRS or SOLD as an asset to another MLP even without IRS approval.
There aren't a host of operators working in the SD region but there are a number of small players and disposal is an issue that addresses all. Further, as well production continues to show assets in the MidCon, an outsider, an existing MLP, would benefit from taking the helm of SDs desired MLP complex, if you will.
So either way, this is an assets that shows growth and thus value regardless of who owns it in the end. Thus, SDs price is, well, in my view, sorely under valued at the moment and I think a new 52 week high is a no brainer! The question should be, how high can it go IMHO! All IMHO and only time will help this hand play out.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
after earnings! Huh!? Gee, Wally, I wonder whats up with that!? DUH............!!!! GILD is way oversold......options are rich after earnings......thats all that need be said IMHO! Naysayers are currently applying the hatchet to the front of their scalp preparing to fall face forward and scalp THEMSELVES on this stock IMHO! Time will tell!
"Hey?! Is it getting hot in here?"
No....um no.......no headspace and timing issues here, this 50 cal usually hits the target the first time! LOL!
After earnings on 23 April..................oh well, guess we'll see..........i expect FB wil shake naysayers so profoundly that they will abandon their FB games and find another whipping post to play. All IMHO of course and nothing more.............
Okay Simon Cowell makes about 90 mil per year.....Mark Harmon makes over a 1/2 mil per episode....Judge Judy ( R U kidding me!?) makes nearly 50 mil per year.......Jon Stewart about 20-30 mil as well as almost every night show host, 20-30 million except Jimmy Kimmel who makes about 10 million.
We're not even talking hollywood mega-hitters and what they make for EACH MOVIE.
So seriously, a guy brings life changing medicines to the market SAVING/EXTENDING lives......has worked in the industry for a lifetime. In fact step back.....when we see firms like Washington Mutual ( who led to the mortgage debacle) have a retiring CEO who makes 30-40 million despite the train wreck well, we all have to remember, many CEOs have been with the company for an entire career. Have earned stock warrants as rewards and more and more these days, are rewarded by reaching performance levels that serve everyone elses interests first, and then he/she is rewarded!
These folks PRODUCE something. They EMPLOY in many cases 1000's if not 10's of 1000's OR MORE!
So USA TODAY can complain all they want and yes, perhaps we have seen some questionably high CEO pay and bonuses but this is an exception to the rule by a long shot. It seems the MEDIA can focus on a few dozen high paid CEOs at the xpense of totally ignoring the 1000's upon 1000's of CEOs who do not make this kind of money AND....if Jon Stewart is raking in 20 mil plus, then you can bet that MEDIA CEOs are making much more than that. USA TODAY, paint the entire picture, not just the PC version you IDIOTS!
Tired of fighting you guys at CHTR. Why I have to call you to get you to send a signal to my box to correct the malfunction is beyond comprehension. This is a persitant problem despite you sending a tech out here to tweek, replace, or otherwise fix, whatever the problem is. I fired you a few years back to opt for magic--jack and now pay just under 30 bucks a year verses the new CHTR bill of about 30 PER MONTH.
Why the internet is 50.00 bucks a month defies logic as well. Of course the cable performance is very poor, when I change a channel your little blurb asking for my patients, the channel should come up in a moment only to utlimately say that I don;t subscribe to that channel and if zI want it to upgrade. The only problem is I do SUBSCRIBE to that channel and I have to call a fricking rep to get some super top secret signal sent to my box. NONSENSE,
CHTR provides 3rd world service for top end prices. Ot has gone bankrupt once and seems based on my experience, to be headed for a repeat. CHTR .....you are perhaps number one in your own mind but clearly number 40 on the depth chart of a roster that totals only 40.
Move over network TV, Cable is about to join you in the Smithsonian.
IMHO....reviewing earnings forecasts for GILD vs......oh say PFE or BMY...as well as current and forward PEs........well.......is it getting warm in here!? LOL! I love the smell of panic and SHORT GREED when the horizon has the appearance of say.....GILD! All IMHO of course!
IMHO lest we all forget CELG is talking a stock split which we learn about this month if memory serves and though this is not a reason to buy a stock because one gains more stock, not more immediate value on a split HOWEVER, management must feel comfortable about the business GROWTH, looking forward and thus, a split..................IMHO
Oh okay, I got ya, I understand where you're coming from....and I agree, SD is a bit of a contrarian play and I love contrarian plays! The risk / reward ratio in rising from the ashes usually pays very well! I thin SD is on track for good things....but only time will tell! IMHO !
unless one is SHORT. In fact, go see for yourself because right now, with earnings scheduled the 23rd, those April 25th expirations and beyond look real nice, real rich! In fact if one is to interpret OPTIONS after the 25th of April, prices are whoing FB could bust through 80 bucks a share with a strong earnings.
The CLOUD used by naysayers, that being whatsapp and the virtual operation are distractions. Meanwhile industry advertising analysts remind us all that FB is HANDS-DOWN the leader in mobile advertising so much so, they wonder whats going to keep TWTR alive? Even Instagram has gained and PASSED TWTR.
WHATSAPP has a 12 month subscription fee of ONLY 1 DOLLAR. At some point here real soon, many will start paying that 1 DOLLAR...and Whatsapp continues to grow (as does FB) from its 400 million user strength.
Its failry amazing to read the naysayers views while FB passes by each day on its way TO THE BANK! But hey, it's their money! LMAO! All IMHO of course.................SHORTS....brace yourself for a Chilean like earthquake!
So using the inverse of your argument....if SD keeps the worm turning into a profit because more assets are found and if in fact this production rate continues to grow at a reduced cost you must think the stock is worth more than 8-10 bucks a share? Am I reading your post correctly?
I only ask because so far, SD's new leadership is tracking on a different course than you describe. IMHO.
Statistical significance matters. Of course once a defect is detected, it should be addressed and corrected. How many of us have flown on an airline that later found out a critical part needed to be replaced?
Same goes for the auto industry. Not to minimize the untimely deaths or injuries of those who suffered from said defective part but to say that if we all want absolute perfection, then we must be willing to pay for it. Secondly, it is incumbant upon in this case, GM, to correct the problem, find out how it manifested for so long, and make corrections to the process AND, most importantly, to make those who suffered, whole.
I must say however, I truly enjoy listening too, and wacthing how IGNORANT many of our elected officials are merely by hearing their questions. All IMHO...of course...
