  • Brad Slingerlend..I believe of Janus comments on how FB growth is pretty much done! LMAO...FB is still deciding how it wants to shape and mold the ENTIRE LANDSCAPE.....much like Google and Apple! Including bumping foreheads with both!

Me thinks Mr Slingerlend hath tunnel vision regarding what FB has shown BEYOND social and if one were too do a forensic break down of FB's growth, one could easily argue that social was merely THE START but most likely, no where near the end.

Mr Slingerlend...there are SEVERAL MAJOR SECTOR evolutions occuring involving TECH......that comfortably fit into the game plane of ANYONE and everyone who wants to play the game...though the FB's/Googles, and AAPLs have a head start and that is mobility/content/entertainment/communications/VR/the Internet of everything........I mean we are LITERALLY at a cross roads being charted by the needs/wants/and demands/as well as expectations of BOTH BOOMER,s and MILLENNIAL's.

Premature PAT is the name YOU don't want to emulate, Mr Slingerlend!

Simply put...looking back, I can not recall a more uncertain and thus. more exciting time regarding TECH applications we can not even imagine right now. But, one thing is certain, there will be winners and there will be losers, right now, I thin CABLE is on the hot seat for change or entry into the Smithsonian as a memory.

VR will reformulate the landscape as we know it.......it will become an entertainment/communications/educational game changer. Growth? Hmmmmm...I'd say that FBs growth is limited only by itself and right now, I see no signs of becoming fat/dumb. and lazy at Google/Apple/ or FB! ALL IMHO and nothing more!

Kendall, thanks for clarifying so much of what little is known by we laymen and hopefully clearing up the confusion we all have managed to impose upon NVCR and the overall issue!

Note, HUGE difference between getting a so called "cut" and merely being invested. If memory serves, the other Duke research going on right now involves the use of the Polio virus to treat solid brain tumors as well and I read where the staff at Duke involved in the research is also invested in the research.

Also of note, more for arays....suggest not bad talking NVCRs application for it has already shown it's efficacy and thus it's approved us. Clearly it does not serve all patients HOWEVER , it has helped many and we wouldn't want to wrongly send people away for no treatment at all , of any kind. Further, the polio virus treatment has proven about a 50/50 effectiveness which while really good in my view, also proves it does not help everyone, for any number of reasons. Tumor/disease progress being IMHO, probably the single strongest factor involved but hey, what do I know, I am no Doctor!

Finally, back to "getting a cut" is illegal, as in kickback. However being INVESTED in the procedure is quite different, I would LIKE ALL DOCTORS to have an interest in the OUTCOME of my treatments! Talk about MOTIVATION / reward! As I see it, other than reputation and steering clear of lawsuits....I sometimes find a Doctor almost burned out with dis-interest and would prefer a MOTIVATED...Dr and if having a financial interest in the OUTCOME of a new medical treatment exists, then I say RIGHT ON! You might say IN A PERFECT WORLD that the Doctor's have a vested interest in seeing such new treatment succeed, exceed, and proceed further via the FDA....! All IMHO !

Arays, then you have my apology and my thoughts and prayers for your Wife. Perhaps Duke can get her into the Polio regimen....which has had both good and not so good results. Both treatments are new and both sources are still learning while they take on new patient's. or at least that is what I deduce from reading whatever I can find on the topic.

I am very sorry to hear of your Wife's seizure and pray you both find a brighter, more promising tomorrow. Please forgive my doubt, but I just could not connect the dots and these days, it seems the lack of ethics is found more and more in every walk of life, especially in investing. Thus, I , along with I suppose many others, approach all with caution. Especially on a Message Posting Board.

Are you "cardplayer5514"? By the way, back in early April you stated your "big day" was going to be 30 May when your wife would get an MRI and somehow she got one on May 8th or 9th, based on yet another of your posts on or around 10 May? I'm confused...the Insurance Industry has has vetted this treatment but only after the FDA approved the treatment following efficacy etc. via the routine process.

Again, perhaps you are legit and this unfortunate situation befalls your Wife but your posts seem to contradict specifically, the date of the MRI....as well as your implied insurance coverage then complaining the 25k could have bought alot of weed.

    Can you explain?

Your posts are starting to sound like the same guy who was posting a few weeks back stating TTFs thus, NVCR , is a hoax. Same type language markers/mistakes in grammar/spelling. No one on this board can validate that you are legit. If you are, then apologies on all counts. There is no treatment that has the exact same outcome for everyone and I will take the scrutiny and vetting done by the Insurance Industry regarding NVCR before I trust your word. Sorry to cast a shadow of doubt but I don't believe you.

    "and"

  • Um, take 'em and CRAM 'EM. First, even if I did want to learn what the "sponsored" as message was all about, I have to listen to some DOCTOR that loves hearing himself tak, for upwards of 10 minutes.....I really don;t know...I've never made it all the way through one of these voluntary exercises in HARRASSMENT ..!

Maybe YHOO should consider a subscription format. Don;t get me wrong, FREE is the way to go but I've had enough of the ADS CHOKING my NEW COMPUTER while trying to OPEN or POPULATE my page/screen.

CHARGE me and offer me ZERO AD HARRASSMENT................or, like AOL FINANCE whom I fired some 3-4 years ago I will walk! I hate it that much! There are other sources that are still avaliable and much less weighed down by UNWANTED ADS. TIRED of the YHOO " BS" FACTOR ........RULING EVERY SCROLL/SEARCH/or article speck I do on your eroding site.

...AND...in fairness to FORD, maybe it has design to be classified as an income vehicle. Afterall, a annual .60 cent DIV combined with the special DIV in 2016 months ago, of .25 cents...that places the total 2016 return to investors above 6% AND...in a NOTHINGNESS Market where folks LOVE a mere 2-3%...FORD has SMOKED the competition.

So FORD even at today lackluster stock price, is a worthy asset to mutual funds and anyone wanting income compared to other choices in the market.

HOWEVER, for we FORD loyalists looking for GROWTH, FORD has failed us.

  • boar292hog by boar292hog May 16, 2016 11:54 AM Flag

    for everyone EXCEPT WE SHAREHOLDERS.

Hence, therefore, and so forth, I hereby label FORD an INCOME stock and remove the notion of GROWTH.

With a backdrop of NEW MODELS, record sales..repeatedly.....and constant news of FORD transitioning as well or usually, better than any of the other American Auto makers.....we see stagnation in the stock price, Better put, PURE OXIDATION.......................maybe the STOCK needs to adopt an aluminum body as well, in order to fight OXIDATION...and lighten up so IT CAN MOVE FASTER and FARTHER..............but hey............this stock has been a disappointment now for the last 4 years or so. It has entered the plateau of NOTHINGNESS ref. PERFORMANCE.

Agree, from JNJ to ZTS......VRX...and now being kept on by Ackman to advise his Family investments, few could tout a better list of Ref's...or industry experience. In fact the CEO of ZTS gave a plug to NVCR ref a "...friend who lived a longer life due to the NVCR device..".

Simply put, he brings a wealth of investment industry experience related to the BIO/MED sector....which seems VERY LACKING at NVCR to date ref. public releases on progress...and relations within the sector/industry.

However, the validation of NVCR has been highlighted by the Insurance Industry acceptance and subsequent coverage for customers which, again, says it all IMHO.

Doyle has been working w/for NVCR already anyways, and now, his load has been lightened up outside of NVCR, this is a good thing IMHO !

Agree....seems at a minimum this NVCR technology #$%$ cancer growth which equates to more time of life and thus more time of treatment seeking remission or cure! Lengthening life's fuse may prove a game changer for some!

  • boar292hog boar292hog May 10, 2016 11:22 AM Flag

Agree, this is a startup that I think finds it's way onto more and more analyst radars.....

  • Brain tumors/pancreatic cancer. Here's my take.....my CUTS-N-CURES take!

CUT...NVCR management as well as analysts should have been prepared..more imortantly, should have prepared shareholders for the COMMON drag time between treatments and payments from our wonderfully mismanaged MEDICARE. This itne alone explains the gap between expectations and receipts IMHO.

CURES.......1) geeez, there are not too many companys that show the very nice growth qtr over qtr NOR...the growth in number of patients.....% wise.
    2) This TTF technology is a long ways away from any semblance of reaching what I would call critical mass regarding NUMBER of patients///more specifically, % of patients from a stat known population.
    3) So far...phase 2 efforts appear to be getting good results thus, potentially expanding the number of med apps this process can be used tom replace or more likely, augment. At least from what I perceive the strengths of TTF's are for now.
    4) This technology appears to be turning doubters into believers and the fact that so many INSURANCE CO's have accepted the treatment and have added it to their coverage is really all that needs to be said here! INS co's are widely known to resist any and all questionable or new meds/etc.
    5) On a personal note, if you know anyone who has passed as a result of said brain tumors this treatment is aimed at, or how about pancreatic cancer ? I mean this is a life extender and I suspect over time, with fine tuning and improved methods, this could change the situation of alot of ailing folks by extending or perhaps even curing whatever illness ails them by allowing more time for more and various co-treatments..... .
IMHO, this is exciting. As some on TV say, "do your own homework" .....and all of the above is purely NO MORE than my opinion.
    6) Hats off too you NVCR...DRIVE ON SOLDIERDOGs (!)....I wish you had been around a couple decades back.

  • Given shareholders wanting more in the way of a DIV and everyone, including Mr Moynihan receiving pay rasises etc.// while shareholders continue their now 8 years of pain with little gain........it seems someone at BAC is suggesting an underwear swap!

So Martha! You and Bill swap underwear....Pete! You and Sam swap out.........Sarah....you and Robert swap panties.........Dale? Giessila? Swap'em!

The idea being that maybe shareholders just need to feel different about themselves in light of a DIV increase drought. RIP , BAC div increase!

  • Guess we'll see if SHORTs are right or not!

Seems to me with a widening availability and Insurance Industry acceptance...we should perhaps expect to see progress in earnings and a brighter outlook.......or at least that would seem a reasonable expectation! IMHO.........
