leaving the kombucha out of it)-----------That's the point when do you announce the beverage line (new flavor) that was suppose to be the engine of growth. Instead, we talk about ginger beer that hasn't made the company money in 25 years. Get a clue cut cost, get help running the company and stay in the beverage mixer capacity. (stay the hell out of the kitchen period)
I highly doubt- that new add will ignite a fire for RGB. What, I find really odd is the story with REED"S was Kombucha over the past few years? Now, were swimming back to shore without huge Kombucha revenue gains and just, talking about RGB as the marketing target.
The add is kinda corny- the group talking about ginger was quite staged and felt promotion material. To the average laymen and I'm not a CNG Chemical Engineer, the old video that feature guys talking in the yard with a girl on the roof with a chain saw, that ad/video blows this corny thing out of the water. Again, stupid move, and put another excuse in the expense/loss column with this ad. Like NP said, selling beverage doesn't need a carnival show on stilts. Just good old fashion store presence.
If the ad on Facebook is the hook line and sinker to rein in consumers in search of the ultimate beverage, then they don't need a bigger boat to carry the haul of fish/passengers. The marketing story was supposed to be Kombucha, as this segment provided the best oppty for high growth vs ginger. This will be Custards last stand, as CR said he dreamed of the day he could market RGB to the masses. And that day has arrived with Moses on the hilltop preaching ginger's properties. Company will be sold at a slight premium in my opinion. Sailor is out of sight from lighthouse view.
This spend will cost them dearly. The question is how fast the payback. I thought the rap kombucha video was sound enough to build audience/customers? Jury is out- its gotta work!

Why would we need to know your share count? And I for one, wouldn't be searching for ground level information about an existing stock position on a YMB.
Somebody- who can be allowed to think above CR- needs to figure out how to stop giving product away and make money at selling the goods$$ Nobody gets rich selling stuff without making money at tally time.
TJ's is getting to be a has been org retailer- Sprouts towers over them. Reed's won't get rich selling Virgil's and RGB (at least shareholders won't). We need an explosion in the KOMBUCHA line up and that won't be likely without spend or partner. Reminds me of Ramtron RMTR- great products, promises forever and company finally sells out for a nominal sum$. Now- if new management came in like Kevin Klock, CEO of Talking Rain- then things could get off the ground after decades of treading water and blowing smoke!
I would never go near MINE. it has over a billion shares oust. They will never deliver earnings on that share count. Glad to see your doing great!!

They won't survive without a suitor. They sell a lot of soda but make no money (same for Kombucha). The K ramp of about a few years ago is non-existent. You can't grow the brand without unit price increase and brand recognition. Without a large marketing arm around the R brand K its an unknown. Expect a sell out for sure at bargain price.
