Smart- CR handing out beverages at the Roth conference. Taste testing is an important pillar to their ultimate success in Kombucha!!
Its been said time and again, ALXA will get money through country partnering or issue stock. The stock price is negligent given the oppty. Should, they decide to raise capital then they have the underwriter under the stock providing: support and raising price for more fees pending the secondary.
Neon has been great for insiders as they sell stock at zero cost. However, since the E-reader investor presentation days the revenue story has done absolutely nothing. A lot of design wins w/o pricing power and Amazon proved how deeply cheep these design wins are in terms of ASP's.
Facebook isn't out its just not in the exact social network as MeetMe is. Whatz you talking about Willis?
Note Reed's picked up Supply Side award in 2013
Consumers these days are of a mind that they want their daily sustenance to do something beyond simply sustain them. Sometimes, the goal is pure indulgence, so for products positioned as such, the hedonic appeal must leave nary a shadow of doubt. Health-focused foods need to truly provide nutritional benefits, and products that cross over into the functional foods category need to have the clinical proof to back up any claims.
Energy is a key category here. When energy drinks first appeared several years ago, many of us in the industry were wondering if they’d simply be another adolescent flash in the pan. To the contrary, the energy category is now huge—and has now surpassed sales of bottled water for the first time (see “Energy Drinks Outsell Bottled Water”). I recently undertook an investigation into new launches in this sector as part of my judging of the SupplySide® Editor’s Choice Awards (winners will be announced at SupplySide West in Vegas come early November), and the category clearly continues to expand. Notable new niches include decidedly more-adult offerings based on tea (including fermented kombucha—check out the new energy shots from Celestial Seasonings), green coffee extract (the Refreshers line from Starbucks—the VIA lime Refreshers are now a mainstay in my home), nutrition-forward juices and vegetables (like V8’s new product, touting a full serving of fruits and vegetables), and sustained energy without piling on the sugar and caffeine (VIVE is a great example—only 20 grams of sugars and 40 mg caffeine). Products with clear demographic focus will continue to roll out, focusing on aging consumers (nutritive boosts specific to seniors), adult women (inside-out beauty ingredients, menopause relief), etc.

In the old days changing auditors caused the chairs on the cruise ship to slide out of position. Nowadays- its just the accounting mistakes and hidden laundry, that create panic. As for the insider sales. Why sell an investment if your confident in its performance over time? Granted (Icahn-----corporations are run for management vs for the true owners with stakes) Although, options are tied compensation, at the end of the day there like free money. Sell em and get em replaced, and zero to no skin in the game and risk exposure vs the keepers of stock.
They tried location based service and fell on their backs. I think UNSAID, will be the app that Facebook would be most interested in owning.

Mostly the province of obscure drinks — like a Dark 'n Stormy or a Moscow mule — ginger beer is showing up more and more as an ingredient on ambitious cocktail lists. Will it be the new darling of hipster bartenders? That remains to be seen. (That's so over!)
But it's clear that whichever resurgence came first, the ginger beer or the classic cocktails, the spicy soda is teaming up more and more with spirits in the aforementioned classic drinks, plus gin-gin mules and a variety of new concoctions. That makes it high time to taste the range of brands out there.
Ginger beer is a soft drink made with the rhizome that flavors many Asian cuisines. It's not ginger ale, being spicier and less sweet than that cousin. And although it was born in 18th-century England as an alcoholic drink, it is, for the most part, nonalcoholic these days and is enjoyed straight up or in cocktails.
We blind-tasted eight brands — by no means exhausting what's available — finding they varied widely in flavors, sweetness and, especially, ginger power. The stronger, spicier brews did the best among tasters. They would hold up well in cocktails, while the milder versions would be best on their own. Ginger beers made with natural ingredients and sweetened with cane sugar tended to do best, although one top-three finisher, Barritts, is made with high-fructose corn syrup.
If Reed's could do an arms length deal with a liquor company -----------how amazing would that be for RGB and shareholders? Prelude_ driving Reed's business in the restaurant and bar channel throughout 33 counties of Ohio, promoting our Reed's Extra Ginger Brew as the foundation mixer for great Moscow Mules and Dark & Stormy's. Superior understands the revival of these classic cocktails becoming re-popularized, and their on-premise sales reps have been experiencing increased demand for Reed's Ginger Brews. Even the Wall Street Journal refers to the Moscow Mule as the "It" cocktail of the moment (WSJ Dec 16, 2013). Now that Superior Beverage is armed with the number one ginger beer in the country, we look forward to the increased market presence that this partnership will bring."
I don't want to call you an idiot cancer fighter- Please, review the recent Seeking Alpha report that explicitly states they may raise cash through territory distributorships and are working at just that. Secondly, if they decide to raise capital they will sell stock or debt (not a 18- wheeler wide, amount of stock outstanding that shareholders would be hurt. And, that's the nature of drug- discovery activity. Lastly, the Stacat platform is a working model, and so its like that 505 (B) FDA filing thing, where you have an abridged time-line in a few years vs 9 years to go to market. Therefore Stac should be viewed as an attractive vehicle to move known pipeline of existing approved compounds to market very quickly. Be patient and you will realize a profit. If one may ask, what is your purpose for being on this board? It seems, you just hate the company and want ill will to all?
However, one has to be honest about the great job ROONEY has done and give recognition (its amazing all of the metrics on the rise) He's honest about the LT perspective for the company. And acknowledges that the business has lumps. Consider, perhaps the best recording quarter in the company's history, and the analyst is dogging the stock? I've found that honest and diligent CEO's who build for the LT are at the helm of well run company's. MNST Rodney Sachs as an example of leadership skills.
