It's a matter of time...in two years, the pps will either be $25+ or less than $5.00. Place your bets and good luck! But one thing is clear...there is no love for INO at this point.
Agree...never seen a company continuously win in court but be branded as a non entity...simply put, no one cares...
I disagree. The company has value. But the longer Inovio goes without significant progress, the value decreases.
I predicted that this would trade in the 7s for a while. Looks like that appears to be the case.
Investors don't care about awards, just results. Kim seems to take great pride in getting recognition.
If he really enjoys collaborative work with his colleagues I don't see him putting 100% into running Inovio. He seems to have lost some of his drive the past year to push things forward and it's reflected in the share price.
From Nov 14th, 2014 3rd Qtr conference call:
"We have a validating and anchoring partnership with Roche. We have additional partners that are closely discussing and engaged with us. We have a strong cash position. We have an increasing human resource position, and we have many studies as well as many catalysts that will be potentially a paradigm changing event in the best several quarters. I certainly look forward to how we will end out in 2014, as well as the next year which poses many activities and promises to be fulfilled that all of us, our team at Inovio, have been working hard to achieve..."
Three quarters later and halfway thru 2015 there really hasn't been much to sustain the $11.00 share price at the time these words were spoken. Basically, INO has fallen nearly 40% since that day in a market where biotech has been one of the sector leaders in 2015.
Glad I sold yesterday at open. I don't see this recovering much and I think the 7s are going to be the new trading range for a while.
How many times during the past year had Kim said they are in deep discussions with potential partners? Again, my point is that very little has come out of it.
Today I sold my last shares. Made a small profit since I bought two years ago. I hate to say it, but it's been a lot of empty promises by Inovio management. Kim talks a good game but he is taking too long to deliver. The problem is that Inovio is not the only game in town and I feel that others in the immunotherapy space are catching up and passing Inovio. All the awards and accolades are nice but eventually Kim needs to deliver on something substantial. It seems that the past year, in particular, has been a lot of rhetoric and little substance.
Although I don't agree with the absurdity of a good portion of the bashers on this message board, those who have similar doubts as me for like reasons resonate with me and have led me to change course regarding my investment.
And for this reason...I'm out.
Not today...Monday. End of quarter announcement forthcoming. This is the last month to buy under $10. This is the next cycle of 2-3x appreciation. Similar to 2013. Headed for $20 within 6 months.
