Net pages are loading like back in 1996. It just amazes me that Yahoo never cares about making its site "improvements"actually improve. 15 years later and it still does everything the same.....shltty.
Yahoo must hire fired Softie techs for its IT. Cannot be any worse than ithat. Buggiest site on the net. And what does Yahoo do about it? It hires a big name...... Katie Couric........yeah, that'll fix it.
Jeezez Henry Keywryst!
Just like the old dial up days. Yeah, Yahoo is improving. Sure. Had to log in 3 times today. Pages are double imaging. Clicking 3 or 4 times to get Topic to work on msgs. Cursor does not select right. Looks like Yahoo is trying to wrest the buggiest site award away from Softie, and is doing so well at it.
PCLN is the success stock that has surprised me the most. Not AAPL, not GOOG, not BRK or any other..
I thought the Priceline business model would be easily followed and surpassed, as travel agents are like real estate agents, a dime a dozen. Computers and desks yes, but where are the hard assets that justify the high valuation? Price is almost 10 times book value????
After all this time I still don't get it except for great earnings. And, I thought that its earnings would be watered down by all the others in the business in no time. You just never know. Still can't figure it.
for at least until the next "Big Fire News". What a crock. Hundreds of ICEV fires happen every day and what do you read or see about them? Nothing. Why? No news value in it. Translation: sales
TSLA will climb back to highs and beyond. Most people still think Tesla is only about EV's. That is merely the starting point. Keep watching.
Despicable human trait that takes pleasure in the perceived misfortunes of others. However, the cause of the TSLA stock plunge is not a misfortune, it is a merely a short term misunderstanding of long term courage and vision. More education in the matter would go along way toward understanding it better and responding accordingly.
My buy is still up how many hundreds of %?
Twitter IPO well shows there are many out there looking to trade the next way-overpriced hot issue. Maybe that idiocy will take Tesla and TSLA out of the spotlight for a while, and that is just fine with me. Time to let it be another brilliant tech company on the rise, and not a market traders darling. Ask Apple about that.
Anyone try to import a contact email into a forward? No can do. Is it Yahoo's mission on earth to #$%$ everything ti touches? Getting pretty close to gov't incompetence levels, and that is no place anyone with at least one working brain cell wants to be.
TSLA will climb right back to highs. Just a matter of time. All must remember that Tesla is just starting, and it's not just about EVs. So much more coming that will be a necessity for every global industry. Someday we will all say, " it all started with EVs, can you believe it?"
As long as Tesla continues in its plan to build more top quality cars every quarter and increase the density of its superstation sites, the stock will continue to impress over time. The product is indisputable.
Like so many other businesses and people attitudes in America today, mediocrity is good enough for who it's for, especially when consumers continue to patronize those mediocre businesses. Best examples I can think of......Microsoft, WalMart and Yahoo, with Detroit automakers close behind. Amazon, LLBean, Nordstrom...... those companies do it right, and get almost all of my business as a result. The others?..........nothing.
Few to none.................reason: no news value(translation: no ad sales value). Remember the Pinto and the 70s Chevy PU?........ fires all the time. And, ask your big city FD about it for the truth. Tesla fires do not occur any more than is typical for all types of cars and, if the real truth were ever told and good luck with that, surely less often, statistically. This "fire news" is no more than a crock.
when Yahoo sites have not been buggy? Yahoo acceptance of daily bugginess rivals that of Softie, and that is a very poor standard to shoot for. I must assume, just as with Softie, that as long as the money is coming in, who cares about quality? Pathetic.
for Yahoo to function properly for even a few days in a row without its typical glitches? I would be hard pressed to choose the glitchiest company between Microsoft and Yahoo. What a sorry pair.
