Wow, this is serious. Lots of oils way down today. Where is the bottom?
We have many decades of oil dependence ahead before green energy can take over. Lots of opportunity ahead.
oops! my mistake. did nasdaq change its dividend history page and omit ex-date? remember it always being there before. have to look closer from now on.
IMO, oil is being slammed beyond all reason this year. Those smart/brave enough to buy big at/near the bottom will win bigger. This is how fortunes are made. Ask Warren Buffet.
Keep your powder dry.
Specious stories dominate in the market media today as all are financially backed to sway opinion. The "news" is no longer news, it is all paid editorials.
He knew about it ahead of time. That's the point I made. I am not convinced of this but even if he was a part of orchestrating it, doesn't that qualify as as prior knowledge to you? it does to me.
You want us to not blame Carl for getting insider info and illegally acting upon it? Please go away and stay there.
Anyone here thinking that Icahn had such perfect timing for his big dumping of NFLX stock does not know how Wall Street works. Icahn was informed of the split announcement ahead of time and acted in his own best interests on that information. Don't you wish you were a multi-billionaire and could get that same privileged, insider info that only those guys get, and you don't? Insider info is unethical and illegal, but when was the last time any of those guys were held accountable? WS is above the law, because WS is Washington, and Washington is WS. And then there are us little guys scrounging for their crumbs. Great system, right?
All my oils sold, will wait for more consistent strength to re-enter.
Shows 52 wk performance down over 50%, should be up around 65%.
Don't see how that could negatively affect the stock price, as the opposite is more likely. Must be coincidental..
17 phone calls to Comcast from me to try to solve internet speed problems resulting from getting its "NEW" X1 service, and 7 of those calls were "disconnected" and no one called me back even though all had my phone # !!!. I know now Comcast does this on purpose. 17 phone calsl to solve a problem and still not solved? Absurd yes,. intolerable, yes, but my wife doesn't want to change ISPs and phone#/email I guess I am stuck with it, as no one at Comcast has any interest in solving the problem. What a horrible company!
First, it trains them to call customers and ask if they want to save $45 a month for more services than they were getting. Of course, these kids lie or never tell you that your connection speed will be cut and your internet experience will be changed forever for the worse. What is it about our business society that gets people to lie and cheat for a measly salary and give their customers the worst service ever(check the polls). Is that the capitalistic legacy we want to leave our decendents? Jeez. what a crummy company, cheating us and it paying off Washington politicians means it will not change for the better, only worse. With universal WiFi soon, Comcast and the like will not be needed, but it has the pols in its pocket.....due to big payoffs.
