I think possibly Tesla's are becoming almost too common, somewhat like BMWs.
At some point, it's just another car.
Reminds me of Gone in Sixty Seconds :
I've been in L.A. for three months now. I have money, I have taste. But I'm not on anybody's "A" list, and Saturday night is the loneliest night for the week for me.
Roger the Car Salesman:
Well, a Ferrari would certainly change that.
Perhaps, Mmmm. But, you know, this is the one. Yes, yes yes... I saw three of these parked outside the local Starbucks this morning, which tells me only one thing. There's too many self-Indulgent wieners in this city with too much bloody money! Now, if I was driving a 1967 275 GTB four-cam...
Roger the Car Salesman:
You would not be a self-indulgent wiener, sir... You'd be a connoisseur.
Precisely. Champagne would fall from the heavens. Doors would open. Velvet ropes would
Very eager ti see the Porsche 911 EV, have always loved that style.
... will look at Audi A3 e-tron, and BMW 330e
Lot of new cars coming out, hard to even keep up with it all.
.. and BEV ranges are getting competitive with Tesla.
Very exciting time for EVs buyers, its getting better almost daily.
You know the old joke about the difference between a porcupine and a BMW...
For about the 10th time since I've had my car (almost a month now), I've come face to face or side by side with another Tesla owner and not one damn wave, wink, smile, thumbs up or nod. Well not exactly true, the woman in the first other Tesla I saw gave me a weak wave. I realize that many times the other driver may not be paying attention to other car makes on the road, so understandable. Today on the highway, I gave way to a Tesla right behind me, so he definitely saw me. Passed me and not even a look over. My wife commented "Wow, are all Tesla drivers stuck up?". Then I had to defend you guys. Not pretty.
Please Tesla drivers, don't make the joke change to "What's the difference between a porcupine and a Tesla?"...

With options, it came out to $82,000
I thought if I could get one for $60k I'd do it.
... and I was willing to go with the 60kwh and save $9k
... and I didnt need the AWD, although it might be nice.
No wonder they're having to lower the prices on these things,
nice car, but too pricey.
I'll wait and see what the Model 3 looks like, and the Porsche, Audi and BMW offerings.
I agree that Musk needs supervision, he is putting Tesla at risk due to his ego.
Musk seems to be trying to put an end this this as quickly as possible, but it may be the tip of the iceberg.
Now that this finally received some publicity, who knows what comes out of the woodwork now.
Keefs attitude towards this seems to be best summed up by the Eagles Victim of Love lyric:
" I could be wrong, but I'm not, no I'm not "
pwdy, you think its going to be easy for a US based company to go after an Australian citizen?
... in his opinion he feels there are design faults and reported this.
Do you think the controversy / publicity will help Tesla?
Besides, all keef has to do is go on walkabout.
They can subpoena his kangaroo.
Volvo is very strong with autonomous operation, so they would know.
Keef, viewed the pics again. Has anyone been severely injured or killed due to the suspension issues?
I had a Jeep that had a balljoint fail out of warranty. Jeep acknowledged a design problem and covered it in total. I'd expect at least that kind of response from Tesla with a high end vehicle that cost 6 times what my Jeep did. Jeep didnt even ask for an non-disclosure agreement. Amateurs,
Profitable company with a sham BK to break their contracts.
Be interesting to see how it plays out.
I'm gambling a few shares @ $1
I think this continues to crash after reverse split.
Check out where this companies money is going,
doesnt seem to be in shareholders interest.
So, he's doing a public service by pointing out that HCTI is basically a sham. It's lost 99% of its value over last few years. It also just arranged for a reverse split and authorized 50X the shares. Dilution continues.
