Keep an eye on the Swiss referendum on Nov 30 .. If the polls are reasonably accurate , and the Swiss public demands at least 20% of the bulging reserves to be in Gold bullion , heavy buying pressure must ensure. , with unpredictable further impacts .

The entire commodities spectrum is impacted by panic selling .. At this price , TGB is a sitting duck for a hostile takeover .. Ownership of the whole package by a company on the right side of politics might even break the logjam on Prosperity .

Is TGB headed towards liquidation ?

The US government benefits from a low gold price which puts a good face on the fiat dollar ..
Consider the evidence that the USA actually has little or no gold reserves vs, the purported 800 tons
Consider the possibility that the FED is clandestinely short selling massive tonnages of gold via a network of anonymous agent banks ...Covering at any price ? no problem...just print the required amount of cash paper dollars ... any comments ? ..I hope that I am wrong on this one !

  • Until and unless the legitimate people of Canada demand and install an iron fisted government that will roll up the rug on the so- called ":FN" , a final solution to the disruptive redskin problem will be impossible .
.Meanwhile Canada will continue to suffer unlimited abuse , harassment and interference from these parasite elements
They should be moved en masse into reservations .with sealed borders ..where they can stew in their own juice ...
They should of course be provided with unlimited free whisky .....
    .......Problem solved ! .

hapiwandrer , is it possible that Josef Goebbels is on the Yahoo staff ?

This strongly suggests that the Ottawa government is now at least ten times more corrupt and incompetent
    than before ...
.Investors should generally avoid Canada ....politically a third world banana republic ....but without bananas ! It will only worsen
.At least in Indonesia , Africa or Latin America it is easier to decipher the process as to which official to bribe
and the "legal" routing of the money ..
The circumstances of P2 disapproval removes any possible doubt .

Fear not , farfighter , The FED and other central banks have been using every trick in the book to suppress the gold price in an effort to maintain credibility in paper currency .. But the party is soon to be over.
The upside correction will be swift and brutal ..
.Only entities with immense reserves of bullion...and a willingness to dump it will be able to restrain the price .
There is already mounting suspicion about how much gold the US FED still owns vis a vis the billboarded "8,ooo Tons " ...stay the course !

  • If the FN has been ruled to have no proprietary rights over Prosperity ,
1- Do they still the potential to make continuing trouble ?
2 -Does fish lake now belong to TGB ?
3- Is there a shred of rational basis for the environmental wackos in Ottawa to continue stonewalling ?
4- Is there any possible indication of official corruption ?

    Question :

Thank you , John.....That is GOOD news ......A full approval would possibly trigger a stampede of speculative buying , considering the intrinsic value of the metal under Prosperity vis a vis the current low share price .....not to mention the impact of any rise in metal prices .The risk reward ratio keeps me on board with TGB ,,,,,btw - give the fog a break ... his ongoing skepticism has tempered excessive exuberance with well aimed caution ....Risk still exists .This goes beyond the simplistic notion of "Paleface wins - FN loses ." ... into the twilight zone of bizarre Ottawa politics .. Hopefully the BC government will continue to press the issue .. Prepare for a wild ride .

  • bocacassidy by bocacassidy Jun 27, 2014 1:21 PM Flag

Does anyone opine what share price would be likely supported by an actual approval of NP.?
Certainly this is an interesting subject of speculation for all TGB investors .

  • bocacassidy bocacassidy Jun 26, 2014 8:41 PM Flag

Fog , you have put a lot into TGB ..I hope that in fact you have not dumped
position ..With the FN issue now clarified , and the Enviros faced with having rejected the project based on the wrong study . , the BC government will apply ongoing pressure on Ottawa in order to cash in on this potential tax resource . ... Money ? an approved NP will attract plenty of money. I was also on the verge of quitting , but I am now inclined to hang in ,with this highly leveraged , if still speculative venture worse than a lottery ticket ....probably with better odds .,,

For total governmental corruption , The Federal Government of Canada compares favorably with most 3rd world countries ...a chrome plated version of Indonesia or the Congo....The only final solution to the destructive actions and malicious interference by Ottawa ? Provincial secession from the Confederation'
Possible exception: Quebec ... The intrepid Quebecois use their obvious leverage to squeeze the Federal; trash for subsidies as the price to remain on board and not pull the rug on the power lords of Ottawa....Who pays ? BC and the Praerie Provinces ,, The Maratimes ? already broke ..... With fisheries collapse , they are constructively banana republics without bananas....Balkanization would benefit the legitimate regions of Canada
.The biggest joke of the north ?.... " Nunavut "

  • are trampled by an arrogant and corrupt Federal regime in faraway Ottawa .. The only definite relief ? ..
Cessation from the the Federation as an independent Republic .

  • hostages to the aborigines until there is a final solution to the FN question.. Other countries in the New World resolved the problem by exterminating them ... Canada is more humane ....and continues to pay a very high price for the support of a parasite subculture

  • BC is a chronic victim of capricious harassment , interference and taxation by Ottawa ,,,
The only final solution ? SECESSION from the absurd federation of Canada ... A confederation with Alberta
would produce a powerhouse Republic .In such case - Quebec would predictably also walk out ., and prosper very well....The "Rump " : Ontario ...? would survive as a banana republic - without bananas !
Only one thing is required : Revolution !

zack has highlighted a salient point .. Until and unless a Canadian government emerges with absolute determination to impose a final solution to the festering problem of "FN" interference with the economy , and abrogate the obsolete and destructive treaties imposed by colonial British overlords , , there will be endless obstruction...
It is not absolutely necessary to exterminate these elements ala the method of of San Martin in Argentina ... A declaration that there is no such thing as "FN", and the revocation of all claptrap "treaties " should suffice .. If there is resistance , there is plenty of avail;able land in the high arctic for the construction of re education camps to house any belligerent elements ....
    Go Canada !
