Historically utilities drop with a rise in interest rates...I'm guessing some funds are just getting ahead of the game. Personally I agree with you and am looking to add.
Sorry MCT I posted my last message before reading your first reply. I would think LF would be first to produce a 50% return but only if it gets bought out. I could also see it dropping another 50% as year end tax loss selling begins in a few months and no fund will want this in their portfolio.
Before I would add to either JAKK or LF though I would just buy more MCZ which is already one of my largest positions.
FWIW both JAKK and LF got upgraded to Outperform today by Oppenheimer. I own both much to my delight/JAKK and disgust/LF.
I appreciate the insight of IFON, MCZ and other stocks on this board, especially since the IFON board is worthless due to incessant posting of a few particular knuckleheads.
boy fr_nk I thought you were smarter than that. I could see not buying at these levels but shorting. There are so many things that could go wrong with your trade including a buyout.
Thanks Hopeful and MCT..I'm reassured to know Klawitter will continue with KTCC and serve on the board. Generally when the CFO leaves I sell my stock but in this case I will continue to hold. I may even add if it falls much further.
"because it's a total non-event"...maybe so but a CFO retiring a few weeks before earnings sends up a red flag IMHO. He couldn't wait till the next excellent earnings report?
