Do you have any thing productive to do? The key word is productive. You and the other clowns posting negative diatribe on this board are the most vapid, inane humans I have ever come across. Always negative, never offering any positive developments for the company... take a hike you moron.
Spending $100M for questionable tech. equates to "on the move"? Every "move" that Intel now makes is under a microscope. I do opine that Intel consumed too much focus on their core and wavered on the small mobile device paradigm. As a seventeen year long, I have all the patience necessary to see Intel through this short period of metamorphosis.
I can see the forest for the trees, as Intel is the de facto leader in perhaps the world's greatest technology heading into the future... commoditized digital devices are not where its at, but the processors controlling them are [billions]. I will see Intel reach it's 100th year [reply to recent SA comment].
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Thank you bstaurrey for providing your stats. I researching new vehicles and the C max is on my list.
You are correct about the "state" of the country... self defeating.
Sucker! Most of us bought Ford in the $2-$5 range [incl. myself with a dollar cost average of $4.78], My patience is not even being tested here as I KNOW Ford will be trading over $20 shortly. Business leaders in this country are a patient lot too.😏
Consolidation + ample manipulation by hedge funds and institutions. If it makes you feel any better take a look at the 1, 2 and 5 year charts. Ford is growing again and its share price will reflect that. To $25!
"Intel would refashion itself more so as a long-term holding attractive to conservative investors if it were to also strictly drill the personal computer and server markets for big profits." kb
I too read the WSCS posted by KB. If I garnered anything from that "analysis", was, Intel needed a swift kick in the sss in mobile as it has forced them to look further out than any of it's competitors who are more concerned with the now [short term profits].
KB did not state that Intel owns [crushes the competition] the PC and Data markets for big profits already. Considering Intel WAS one of the original "mobile" players with wireless laptops, their foray into mobile devices is just an extension of their technological prowess.
With the "new" Atom, future Quark and Edison, Intel's future will be pure organic growth. I see revenues of at least 70B within 5 years, over 100B within 10 years.
I am happy that Intel keeps the pundits guessing what their plans are, it is one of the ways to stay competitive. The fruits of their labor will show over time.
For all that Ford has accomplished during the last four years the shares should be [should be] trading near $25; and my patience is being tested. The short term noise will abate....
Sentiment: Strong Buy
gg I have owned Apple shares since 1985-86. My dollar cost average is less than a dollar. My first purchase through DBC was 1,250 shares for $1.875 and my second was 500 shares at $2.25.
and yes now in 2014 I am a trader who is short Apple with over 14,000 shares to back it up.
If you want to make comments like you did, proves to me you don't have a pot to #$%$ in.
You see, I like what MB has to say about Apple, because it puts ALL the analysis and opinions into perspective.
CNBC... what a joke. Only fools follow the noise coming from the mouths of those liars.
Look, do yourself a favor and look at the 1, 2 and 5 year chart, in that order. What is to complain about?
iluvamuffin put it simply. Don't play into their [WS] shenanigans, Ford will be over $20 in short order.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
You are a liar. You didn't short AA because you don't have the know how or the money to do it. So do us all a favor and shut up. I peruse ridiculous claims such as yours all over the financial message boards and they follow the same pattern: "I did this and the rest of you are idiots". Bottom line: You are a liar. SHUT UP!
Last week I purchased 1000 shares after a series of positive developments and analyst' write-ups. The most extreme puts C at $190 during 2018 including a much higher [pct.] dividend.
Not unlike the REITS, one of which [RAS] I purchased, the banks are under a microscope by the investment community, including federal regulators. The worst is behind them, which for me is the time to buy.
