    The complaints about service are actually a smoke screen by MCD management that covers over the real problem of this business. The real problem is they are not doing the same volume of store traffic as they did 5 - 10 years ago. They are not getting new generation of younger consumers to buy into there products as younger people have much more alternatives to fast food choices than there have been ever before. Less store traffic = less revenue....

  • These are dinosaur companies in which new generation of kids/parents don't buy the products anymore like they did 20 years ago. Young couples who have kids 20-30 yrs old are not eating McDonald's like when we were kids growing up in the 80s. Young people are more cautious of quality food and in today's fast food environment there 10x more choices than there were 20 years ago with independent burger chains as well as up and coming franchises like Shake Shack, 5 Guys, Meat heads, etc... McDonald's cannot complete on quality with hose other smaller competitors.
