So I am part of the securities lending program with Fidelity and today they borrowed my shares for the first time ever. For those who are aware of this program , just like the big institutions do you are able to loan out your shares and collect an interest rate each month. The interesting thing is with the large volume and what seems like short covering going on they now are borrowing my shares and the interest rate is only .25%. Very strange. For my opko shares they are paying me just 2% and 15% for my avxl shares. So they are in demand but for only .25%.
