Tangible book value is $7 a share, $6 of it being cash. Management won't even buy the shares back at $1 for every $6 a share they hold in cash. This should tell you how much they think of Ameran shaeholders.

The present value of a zero future dividend stream and zero American held, share buy-back policy is zero.

$7+ Cash per share? Is this right?

There was a flurry of buying last year taking the stock up to $3.50 a share from below a dollar in a relatively short period. Much of this in my opinion was due to outside analyst hopefullness after noting that the insider Fearon was picking up a lot of shares. But after a while, buyers other than Fearon waned and one person cannot hold up the stock price. Not only that, the CFO sold a lot of his shares last year. The company is trying to expand sales to beyond Chinese borders, any profits , purportedly, will be avialable for distribtuion to investorswho are mostly foriegn to China. But given managments sparce news annoucements barely exceeding the quarterly minimum, no once trusts management very far when ti it comes to taking care of the investor. They never mention incvestor value when at their quarterly news condferences, seemingly oblivioul to why investors invest. , Getting a possilbe dividend 3-5 years from now doesn't have a very high present value , exspecailly after applying an appropriate discont rate.

What you are missing is a very self centered managment which has no creativeity when it comes to passing company value down the the shareholder. They prefer to hide behind Chinese ways which promote keeping all earnings in China, something U.S. companies have not been encouraged to enforce for 100 years or more. It will take a person like Donald Trump in the White House to force China and their companies to abide by an internationally fair, code of conduct. Until then, we'll have Chinese compaines like NUIN, whose frontmen will say they can't use profits earned in China to reward patient shareholders abroad. That it is why China is still decades away from being a world currency leader. Got it now???

How can you compare MU to DCX, as DCX has been shrinking while MU growing over the past several years. Do chartists ever consider that in the long run, earnings drive chart movement?

This stock has been the lowest dog on all listed exchanges. It is proof that the Chinese are extremely callous when it comes to returning a favor to faceless others who believed in them. To let them hang out and die before allowing them to get their money back while management sits on $7 in cash and equity per share shows you they don't care, nor have any creativity when it comes to helping their unknown investors. I'm surprise Ali-baba IPO went so well, but maybe that company will operate under a different philosophy and rules.

An order of 10,000 is not that large, but maybe open the door for much more business in the future. Being that the customer seems to be Chinese, it will still not affect the ability of NUIN to pay dividends to people outside of China. So it seems to be a non-event to people in the US.

  • Hopefully it is investors who got in at $3.50 and are cleaning up their tax losses for year end. Today's drop is testimony to the fact that so far, management has never looked after its nameless investors. Hopefully that will change in 2015 when their products are sold outside of China.
