only a matter of time 15% growth. Even though there is only a fraction of the land with GM and Monsanto seed its still more difficult to grow profits by $200 M a year than at $20M when you are a 1/10 the size. So with US sown up with Pioneer Dupont deal we have guarenteed revenue for the next 8 years from North America but have to grow S America and EU/Eastern Europe , Plus think about China and Africa. Biologicals platform appears to be an approach to the EU with all their chem and GMO fears so masive potential there. I am pretty confident that within 10 years EU will also be GM crop growing since their policies are reducing their production and increasing their costs and in fact increasing their chem usage - the opposite that they want !
These protecst have gone on for 15 years and don't do a d@#$ thing for anyone except pay for the upkeep of activists
why? I assume like others you have zero data just a religious believe in the Mon santan. You wrre born in teh wrong era - try dark ages .. better fit
lets see how the organics spin this - they could blame Justice Thomas for it but it was 100% in MON favor - do they really think they were right on this?
opposite God will reward MON as Jesus was rewarded - despite those that throw the stones now they are qrong today and MOn will be everlasting - AMEN. Monsanto helps more small farmers than any green peace or Friends of the earth
cap GMO have been unfaborable since MNON was $8 all the bad news is supress us from going quicker to $140 its just inevitably up you will be so wrong
This is Monsanto with Gates bringing germplasm, Bt and drought trait to small holder farmers for FREEEEEE of course Greenpeace Feinds of The Earth wouldn't like farmers getting 100% more yield and using less insecticides sprays I guess they need people to get cancer so they can complain - what would they complain about if there was no insecticide spraying and it was replaced by genetics? No way to raise money - wait a minute lets just make up stories --------been there ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,done that (good at that they are
the authors have no scientific training in toxicology or biology. My grandma would have written as good a publication.
they have options as part of income and have to sell by end of next week (10 years after issue_)- this means the stock will go higher after April 24. They also sell as part of a preset program - they can't control when it sells too much.stock option not sold by April 24 get totally lost in value versus teh 700% gain they have over 10 years. The company also buys back to reduce dilution and eth compnay just said they would extend the buyback beyond option buy backs so expect $120 soon
yeou knowledge about this is less than a 2 year old - they weren't fooled by all the incorrect /wrong information out there
I think the people that trade in MON daily have it - why was it worth 106 one day and 100 the next. Sell on good news tomorrow but 12 month project $129 I call that mental. I think the stock price correlates with number of zombies killed in Walking dead the Sunday before so down now until next season
just wishful thinking like most anti_GM activiszts zero facts zero logic get a religion - oh sorry you have one organic food ! ignore the fact that the rate of detection is going up and no indication the actual inceidence is going up and ignore the fact that child devlopment experts say its our inability to let kids relax without video games or any organized activities that drives them to not keep still for a moment. You worry about ants and while the whole world burns - you have no concept of science or logic or proportion
Stock goes up 4% for an approximate guaranteed minimum 6+% gain in profits starting next year from Pioneer revenue add this to the 15% average growth already expected then we are talking 20% growth likely next year. Also Pioneer Dupont deal doesn't include the biggest soybean market -Brazil that Monsanto is just starting to penetrate with the Intacta that will completley blow Pioneer out of the water so as usual Pioneer will wait until it is too late and end up making a deal on this -- again boosting Monsanto beyond this 20+% growth per year - stock should be easily $120+ by end of year - a lot of surprises to downside have been removed. USDA can project high or low acres, high or low harvests but even under best weather China demand will maintain real grain prices -transient up and down will be due to speculators andbut real supply and demand means this still will be in favor of suppliers by year end. Of course every April stock goes up towards Q2 earning and then falls after doesn't matter what the earning say - so buy on the dip to come but if it bucks the history you just missed out
technically the $1 billion legal bill is still pending its a penalty for lying and for deceiving the court the judge can still insist on a penalty - that's my guess. Dupont isn't actually paying for the damages they created they are just paying for the future traits etc they get (based on the news reports) so the judge may be so #$%$ that he will still make Dupont pay. The civil thing with Monsanto is settled but not between the court and Dupont
organic food causes mental illness and turns them into activists without rhyme or reason - there is more data on this than harm from GMO food !
there were fewer tumors when they increased the dose - GMO cures cancer - there is no jury they went out for a GMO lunch and never came back - there are 3,000 cases a years for incidents with food supplements and zero with GMO food - that is 30,000% more I think you need to focus on the real culprit
for commercial sale but they continue to allow research and since they can't produce enough seed due to this stupid policy they import GM grian from S. Africa - never one for common sense
Old Monsanto has had its share of chem problems so I wouldn't push the Dupont problems. Monsanto is now a different company and more proactive to reticy or prevent problems. But the reality is Dupont management is just bad and not very innovative for a science based company but they have a fantantic marketing and smoke screen organization to hide this. I say well done to them - of course it wouldn't last for ever and they are likely to have to pay probably $3 billion in that lawsuit and come begging to Monsanto. They should just admit defeat payfor the licenses from Monsanto and then move they research and focus to actually making ag better rather than trying to beat Monsanto - this is like the Russians still thinking they have a chance of beating the US to the moon and foillwoing that parallel Dupont has a good basic business delivering basic service like Russia has servicing the space station but don't ask them to land a probe on Mars (nothing above and beyond expected)
