Thanks for your views and the nice summary. I was most impressed in the way SPAN has become a bed company rather than just a support surface company. The acquisition is paying off and they did a great job with integrating it into the company. Once again, they are adding greatly to shareholder value with the recent buy back. I can see another special dividend or acquisition sometime in the future if they continue to accumulate cash as they did in the past.
I was in EEI some time ago. They didn't seem like they were getting anywhere fast. Maybe they got their act together now.
I never understood the stampede of companies that rushed over to China to build build plants or have their products manufactured there. Often intellectual property and designs were stolen. Un-authorized copies of products hit the market. Often, companies lost total control over their product as changes were made in components and the design without approval or notification. This doesn't even include the political risk to which you allude.
Usually this hasn't meant much for companies that I have owned in the past but thought I would through that out there.

I agree with your sentiment and unfortunately it is going in the wrong direction. At this point it might be a good thing as I may average down at these prices.
I have been following this stock for eons. It isn't unusual for insane price drops and spikes. There are also extended period when the stock seems to be in favor or out of favor. With that brings opportunity.
I don't know if that is new, but I don't remember them ever having a regular dividend policy. That being said, they never hesitated to distribute cash to shareholders. It is just that they do it when and as often as they see appropriate.
Yahoo news is almost useless now with all the phony new items from insider monkey and others that just try to generate clicks. I heard that these "news" sites have to pay to be listed on Yahoo so it is not surprising that there is some profit driven motivation.
"Fifteen New Fixtures YTD and $1.5 Billion in Secured Future Revenues; Secured Coverage for 2016 Increases to 55%"
I think I posted before that the company sounded confident about the future. It sounds like it is mostly assured with the number of contracts for the ships.
New product development continuing. Sounds like a significant improvement.

The price has been holding nice and has been relatively steady. Have not gotten back in. I was thinking the Argentina election results might give it a boost.
I just read that the NYSE is eliminating GTC and Stop orders beginning in 2016. That is a major disadvantage to the small investor. I don't use stop orders but a large number of my trades are GTC. I am hoping that the brokerages will fill the gap internally some how. This sounds like another way the big guys are taking an advantage over the small investor. I just read about this so some of you may know more.
