I am still looking at the Q4 report but was wondering if these folk actually put out a backlog number. I see they refer to backlog in the release but maybe I missed the actual number.

14% YOY on earnings sounds good.

    Ne 52 week high

It has not been a lot but I am helping with the volume. I wish I started buying in earlier but in any case, it is still very, very, very cheap even at 52 week highs.

Just as I suspected, your desperate and inaccurate posts will increase before the x-dividend date. Only about 1 week to go. At that point you shorts will have to pay us longs the dividend unless of course you bash enough to buy shares and cover before then. Unfortunately, you will have to compete with me to buy your shares. Good luck with that one. I am looking forward to your next inaccurate and scare tactic post soon. Unfortunately, your moral compass is missing a needle.

Only a couple of weeks to go and it is close. No changes near the top except pullingup takes the 4th spot. The S&P is beating the group average by a small margin.

Are there any special tax considerations of which to be aware when investing in this BDC? Are there any special Schedule K-1s like for MLPs or anything else? Any benefits or restrictions in holding in a tax or IRA account other than the high current income? TIA.

I am surprised that the price is still in the mid 14s. Earning in the next quarters should have nice growth and comps YOY (year over year).

I agree. I have to laugh because back when everyone on the board was moaning that we needed to get a CEO asap, I knew it wouldn't be long before they would have a change of opinion.

I thought that the appearance of Google Glass was just fine. In fact, if you compare it to the hideous glasses that Sony are coming out with and they look spectacular. I hope Google comes out with something soon. The Sony product is so ugly that I think it could hurt the image of the product category. Maybe others disagree with my aesthetics assessment.

    Additional Brokerage Costs

    by bottomsupinvestor Feb 18, 2015 10:55 AM

Well it wasn't as easy as a call to my broker. I ended up with multilple calls to Fidelity, contacting NSAT (who was very responsive), and calling DTC to confirm eligibility of which Fidelity was claiming NSAT wasn't DTC eligible. After finally convincing them that their information was wrong, they fixed it in 5 minutes.

Thanks so much for your information with Ameritrade which was also a big help.

Hopefully I can pick up a few shares at a reasonable price before the conference call which was just announced for next week.

Thanks for the info. My normal commission costs are very reasonable. I don't know what is up with this extra fee. I am trading the symbol NSAT so it should be NYSE MKT. In fact, I might not have even noticed it rolled in there if it wasn't for a transaction spreadsheet that I use. Good luck to you. I hope I get this straightened out so I can accumulate.

I am not looking to be a trader but it would take some time to build a larger position in the company especially with the lower volumes. It is an additional $50 per trade. That would be a significant cost. I like to buy with limit orders and sometimes not many shares execute. For instance, if only 100 shares execute, my commission cost is over 10 percent of the share cost and that is just for a one way transaction. I get the same costs selling.

Thanks for your input. If you don't mind, can I ask you brokerage cost for a NSAT trade with Ameritrade? I would like some information with which to go back to my broker and beat them into submission.

I was a nice report, I am surprised not to see the price much higher. I bought more in the 14s.

This week seemed like a week off. The exchanges were closed on Monday with the holiday. The boards seemed quieter than usual and most volumes were down a bit. It must be the cold weather disrupting the normal schedule of things.

Jazz9292 has taken the lead by about 4 whole percentage points. Only a few more weeks to go.
