What is the date of the spinoff of Abbvee and how many share of each stock will each shareholder end up with after the spinoff is completed?
No earnings last quarter to speak of, a P/E ratio of 195.28 with EPS of $1.21. Wow, this stock is way overpriced.
Chevron makes $13.62 per share and has a P/E of only 7.95. Why would AMZN be considered anything but a short here. AAPL earns $42.55 and trades a modest 13.74 P/E.
Make money on the way down to less than $120 very quickly!!
amazing, new meaning for AMZN. (amizingly stupid that is!)
Put your money where your mouth is and SHORT this stock and hold til it hits 30 and let us know how that works out for you!! Otherwise, if you won't back your statements with actions, keep your pennyless thoughts to yourself!!!
If Deere would be looked at like Netflix. Apple, etc...... This earnings report would have sent the stock up over $10 to $20 per share. Unfortunately, for DE shareholders, the market treats DE, CAT and the oil companies all very differently. Just look at he PE's and the earnings per share. Something wrong on Wall street in my opinion.
Go DE & CAT
bc, I own zero as of early this morning. I sold all in advance of what might be worse than projected earnings for the current quartere with a lower forecasst going forward.
Ex dividend date brings with it a requirement to reduce cash the value per share of the dividend to be paid out per share. As a result, the value of the company is less by the dividend it has to pay out. Makes perfect sense!!
You guys are very funny. No wonders the IRS have auditors in the field auditing. Some of you are way off base here and should be audited, except the IRS will not change your return to benefit you so you won't get looked at.

It appears that in the last year that PEP recovered the dividend price nicely, how about this quarter, is it worth buying here today? How fast would you think the price would recover?
You must have, you said it, I surely wouldn't say it public though, not with this stock.
Making money hand over fist with this golden opportunity!
Any one with a background in this stock, will LMT recover the price of the dividend fairly quickly or does it take a lot of time. Nice dividend and with todays dip, I am considering buying the dividend.
What do you think?
Nope, you had to own the stock at the close of business yesterday. Today is EX-Dividend day. If you look at the closing price yesterdat and subtract the amount down today, you would also have to subtract the .49 dividend value to get back to yesterdays closing price.
