By the way... 500 Million Tweets a day works out to about 200 BILLION Tweets per year! When they figure out how to monetize this... oh boy...

  • How many companies in the history of the planet can claim that? Can you imagine what happens when TWTR (or an acquirer) figures out how to monetize the product? :)

500 million tweets daily... 2 billion annually. How many companies in the history of the planet can claim that their product is used 500 millions times daily??? Yes, they have not figured out how to monetize it to date... fair enough. (But imagine what happens when they do?)

  • Whether you love TWTR or hate it, the one thing that all users know is that it is incredibly relevant! I always laugh when I hear people say it's too tough to use. Really? The funniest thing is when pundits say it will be the next MySpace? REALLY?!!! There are 500 million tweets sent daily worldwide... that's over 2 billion annually! How many other products can claim they are used 500 million times a day... worldwide??? I'm thrilled to have Jack back and the whole CEO search behind us. Look how the market is reacting! The next MySpace???? Hilarious! Long and strong the little birdie! When TWTR or some acquirer figures out how to monetize something that's used 500 million times a day... holy cow!!! Good luck to all!

  • The Bob Peck upgrade speaks volumes. TWTR will figure out how to monetize their amazing product or someone else will. No other company can claim they brought about a dramatic real-time event such as the "Arab Spring" in Egypt. Have you seen the user numbers on Periscope? I'm sure that if a company came along and made a serious offer to buy TWTR that they'd have to consider it. However, I get the feeling that the board may not want to sell because between Project Lightning/Periscope/and other innovations, they feel they'd be better off, long term, going it alone. I'm as disappointed in the share price as anyone but there's no way I'm bailing out. If you get out... you lose. If you stay in... you win. Just may take awhile, but I've got time. Good luck to all!
