2010 The Year Security Stocks Will Do Good

Magal's superior indoor and outdoor CC systems should help in countering new terrorist threats. There can be no substitute, however, for improved screening of airline passengers.
    Cheers.

"a sophisticated protection package for sub-surface intrusion". Sounds like protection against tunneling.
Hard to underestimate the value of such an achievement.
    Cheers.

Another good, encouraging report by Kumar. Check it out.
Too bad this "message board" has been made such a wasteland by shorts and bashers. Investorvision may be a better source for more reliable information.
Remember, diversify, dca, buy low, sell high.
    Cheers.

    ** SOLD MAGS !!!!!!!!

    by amnon105 Nov 1, 2007 10:39 AM
    breeves1999 breeves1999 Nov 29, 2007 1:13 PM Flag

    Yup.
Further, IF this person is who he claims to be (instead of just another hedge fund paid basher, etc.) he knows that due diligence requires more than reading the ridiculous messages frequently posted here by shorts and bashers.
Long, strong and patient investors will, imo, be handsomely rewarded, as I have been for many years.
MAGS will soon be moving up again, quite possibly, WAY UP!
    Remember, buy low, sell high.
    Cheers.

    Conference Call

Thanks, Ben. Fantastic job on the transcripts of conference!
Must confess, although I listened to the call, I still find their accents a bit tricky, so your work really helps to clear up some points.
On balance, a very encouraging report!

  • breeves1999 breeves1999 Nov 5, 2007 9:59 AM Flag

Thanks, Ben, for another fine commentary.
Great to see another strong report by MAGS.
    Bodes well for the future!
    Cheers.

MAGS, despite its secrecy, remains the best of the best in high tech security equipment and systems, and, with its R&D, continues to outpace the competition.
Increasing worldwide need and demand for sophisticated systems will, imo, ensure MAGS' continuing expansion, which should be aided by her recent acquisition of the European integrator, especially as customers become more knowledgeable about security matters, dissatisfied with lesser companies' offerings, and upgrade to MAGS' demonstrably superior products and services. Second best stuff that fails isn't good enough for thoughtful customers, in the long run.
This is, as I see it, the undeniable "big picture" for MAGS, making it a terrific value (investment) at current prices.

    CC...........The Details

    by bengrahamvalueinvestor Aug 8, 2007 11:38 AM
    breeves1999 breeves1999 Aug 8, 2007 4:34 PM Flag

Thanks,Ben for such a fine (and labor intensive!) transcript.
I did find their accents a bit tricky during the CC, but was able to get the gist of it.
The numbers are generally quite encouraging, compared to last year's, and could not rationally be claimed to account for any decline in share price: the markets surely have many other, larger problems, but MAGS' income, profitability, and prospects for the future are not among them.
I'm looking forward to a continuation of these improved numbers at the next CC.
MAGS' leaders know very well what they're doing, and the numbers show it.
Anything below $10 for this stock is a steal, imo.

    Great Post, Ben.
These contacts are as inevitable as they are encouraging, because MAGS offers technological advantages others don't.
    Buy cheap, sell high.
    Cheers.

  • Conference call should be worth checking out.
Buy Cheap, while you can. A bargain in this range.

  • together with the overwhelming negative reaction by the American people to the prospect of "amnesty for illegal immigrants," as proposed by Bush and Congress recently, may be enough to awaken our fearless public servants to the harsh reality that we the people are tired, Very Tired of their endless excuses and bureaucratic heel-dragging about doing their jobs to effectively secure US borders and other points of weakness in our infrastructure.
CNN, in general, and especially, perhaps, Lou Dobbs, imo, have done well to focus on these developing, inescapable problems.

As for myself, it was the multiple-identity phonies (mostly shorties and bashers) who drove this board into the ditch.
IV is a far better resource.

NO NEWS for 3 MONTHS now !!!!

Just hold onto your hat, cranky.
Please remember, earlier this month we had a very good report and conference call, also that MAGS is becoming more and more an international enterprise among customers who want the most efficient solutions to their problems (and the confidentiality that they expect, as part of those solutions).
In addition, of course, MAGS is busily engaged in further securing Israel's borders (already the world's most secure), against continuing hostile actions by neighboring countries, and helping develop further internal security capabilities.
Rest assured, MAGS is very busy, and getting busier.
    Cheers!

  • Thanks, Kumar!
Shorties and bashers would do well to take heed.
    Long and Strong, Gooooooooooooo ISV!

For those of you who missed it

Thanks, Ben, for your informative (as usual) post re CC.
Yes, the accents can be a bit tricky, but with the replay button, I can usually figure out what is said. I,also, miss comments by Chairman Even-Ezra, and hope his health will allow him to take part in future calls, since he is a tremendous resource and colorful personality.
With all that MAGS has underway already, and on the heels of such an impressive 1st quarter report, these new developments
make it a very exciting stock to own.
The evolving changes in MAGS, begun years ago by then-CEO
Even-Ezra, seem to be coming in quite well.
When you're the best at what you do, as MAGS is, and the world comes to realize that, it will seek you out.
I believe FAR greater days lie ahead for this company.
    GO, MAGS!

  • speak loudly and clearly for MAGS, despite the customary detractors, shorts, bashers, day traders, etc.
Thanks to all at MAGS for making possible such impressive reports through their hard work and leadership.
By the way, contrary to even more ridiculous nonsense by one of the misinformative shorts who posts here, I'm not a MAGS employee, although it should be irrelevant if I were. I'm just an individual investor with enough sense to realize that $11 is nothing for this stock, as we shall see, possibly very soon, depending on events around the globe.
Ordinarily, I don't respond to such absurd claims, because I understand that identifiable responses to their posts is the basis for hedge fund boiler room lackeys to be paid. This one has had so many aliases here and elsewhere in the past, I hardly know whom to put on ignore, but otj is back on.
MAGS continues to have HUGH upside potential, as all bashers should know, otherwise they're wasting their(& bosses') time.
    Just the facts, mam.
    GO, MAGS!

  • at what you do, sometimes even when you're quiet about it, as MAGS has been recently, leading up to today, despite bashers.
MAGS continues to be the best at what they do around the world, with the best technology, R&D, and use of resources to provide effective solutions to security problems old and new.
The world continues to notice and reward such excellence, as we shall see, because being second best isn't good enough.
Listen to today's CC for yourself (available tomorrow at MAGS' company website), and do your own due diligence.
Long and Strong, VIVA ISRAEL, ROLL ON, MAGS!

    long time holders will sell

    breeves1999 breeves1999 Apr 29, 2007 12:19 PM Flag

Maybe those "holders" without brains will sell on Monday.
I've owned this stock for many years, and can promise you that my shares will NOT be for sale any time soon.
I, too, have become so disgusted by the shorties and bashers who have taken over this yahoo board that I rarely come by. Investor Village board may be a better site for worthwhile information on this all too maligned and misunderstood stock. Congratulations, thanks, and good luck to Kumar and all longs!
