"The market is never wrong" a statement so laughable it has to be a joke. Low oil and gas prices hurting the consumer? What, do you work for a hedge fund or something? A big bank perhaps?

The Truth is UGGS are going out of style.

I hear this kind of stuff all the time, and this time I have to respond. This whole "going out of style" thing is absolutely preposterous on several levels. Everywhere I go in DC I see women wearing these shoes EVERYWHERE: Georgetown, Shaw, Chevy Chase, Chinatown, you cannot escape these boots. And it isn't even about fashion (and hasn't been in frankly 7 or 8 years), it's about comfort, warmth, and quality which never goes out of style.

The real problem is poor management that gives innacurate guidance and estimates consistently, and can't keep these wildly popular boots and shoes in stock. That and the fact that they are so high quality, that women only need to replace them about once in 6 or 7 years. Martinez is a dreamer and a designer, not a savvy businessman....

I did the same thing Mark, and feel great about it. There have been a few people on this board I am thankful to for articulating this stock's patterns. Parked my money in $BGCP in the meantime and made a quick return today. Will be looking for re-entry points

I am long TEU for about a year now. I bought for the dividend thinking that global shipping had been down for a while, and was going to get back on track in the next couple years. This seemed like a pretty well-managed company with a good chance of survival. Now, I look at the stock's rapid decline and feel like this stock may never find the bottom. How low can it go?

  • The puzzling pricing action on this stock over the last few days is actually quite amusing. In recent weeks, the short interest has surprisingly gone up slightly despite the fact that this stock is all but guaranteed to cross $105 before year's end. Today's action in particular is the waterloo for the annoying shorts of this stock. What are you guys going to do without absurd "guidance" from management to protect you this time? Today, when it laughably fell back down to $96, I bought more. 18% short interest means a lot of people are going to be stuck covering, and soon....

    Sentiment: Strong Buy
