Question for those in the know....my account is short a couple hundred bucks today as the stock quotes don't matchup with my gains/losses for the day. My buddy says it's because of the ex-div date and the market maker adjusts the share price. Does anybody know anything about this? It's Ameritrade btw.
What is going on? Every day is the same.....no news, market goes up, WFM goes down. Over 10% in the last month on zero news. What the hell?!
#$%$ are you even talking about? Do you just repeat buzz words and catch phrases? Seriously, what you just said makes no sense and doesn't show up on any chart in any way at all.
you've definitely lost a boatload recently, eh? No catalysts other than the reformation of the cartel, a potential dividend announcement, a buyout candidate, a massive short interest that is unwinding as we speak and oh yeah....every analyst has a 'sell' rating so they can only upgrade from here.....other than that, you're exactly right....no catalysts....oh did I mention the state-of-the-art facility that they are just now starting to bring on line? Some of you shorts really need to do more research....
P/E is price divided by earnings. Earnings were held down because of all the CAPEX. Now that is done and they should be producing much more cash which will drastically and rapidly increase the P/E. As for volume, it seems like it's been really low to me other than Friday. Other than Friday, they haven't traded over 600,000 shares in a day since March 6th and that was a big up day.
Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of ugly days here. But I'm still very confident in the long run. Shorts can lean on this one since it's volume is low and its float is small. But once they start cranking out numbers and lowering costs, there's nothing shorts can do except lose money and head for the exits.
potash prices would rise pretty drastically I'd have to imagine. I don't think it will happen though. Russia can be sitting on a mountain of potash but if nobody is buying from them (Chinese already locked in reduced prices) then the supply is artificially lowered which drives prices higher. I don't think Russia will keep this up much longer. Their markets have already dropped about 15% in the last month and they aren't exactly wealthy to begin with.
yeah, I definitely could've timed it better, haha! Another cycle or two like this though and we'll have it down to a science!
it seems like it channels between $14 and $16. Until it goes significantly higher than $16, I'm gonna assume that is the top.
Still up about 12% in the last month on basically no news. I think it's just taking a breather. I sold some the other day at around $16.40 and bought it back today. Wouldn't be surprised if it dropped another 5% though. Then I'll buy more.

Folks, putting petty differences aside, if you can't see the shorts exiting en mass right now and the momentum completing turning, you are either ignorant or blind. Wait til the announcement is official and upgrades start rolling in. SHHC, I'm done messing with you man. If you want to continue, that's fine. But at this point, the lion doesn't concern himself with the opinions of the sheep. Have a good day, sir.
The Moscow Times is reporting that management on both sides is in negotiations as we speak. Google it for yourselves as I cannot post links here. You see shhc, this is what it looks like to actually do your homework and understand what you're talking about. You should try it sometime. Maybe you wouldn't lose so much money!
HAHAHAHAHA!!! Good one, you poor little fella! Is yahoo gonna give me a spankin?! I've never seen somebody get their #$%$ beat so bad on a message board they had to tell on me, hahahaha!!!
