  • I just read where Peter Salas sold Act Teleconferencing INc. for 44 million in September. Maybe he will have more time and money to work on increasing shareholder value a TGC now. Patience is a virtue. I feel TGC will one day pay off well for all the longs.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

MMC still black hole in 2014

    Bob,

You are right. I was very impressed with what Peter Salas said at the annual meeting and the way he said it.

You know much more than me reguarding Hoactzin. Peter did say the situation with Hoactzin/Tenngasco was not company threatening by any means and that they would soon be resolved. Well it has been a year and I guess they have made a little progress. I had hoped for everything reguarding the relationship between Hoactzin and TGC to be completed and behind us.

A year later, TGC has started drilling and polymers again. Production is climbing, and so are oil prices. TGC makes $8500 day profit net with current production, price of oil, and additional expenses being covered with moves, etc.... So hopefully they will really start making money and the share price will really move. I am still bullish and am buying more shares as I can. I will ride this till my ship finally comes in, or it sinks. Either way I will be patient and see how things go. Several I know made piles of money on the last 3 spikes. It will surely happen again. TGC, better than money in the bank, right?

    Brian

  • Just re=read the 1st quarter 10-Q. Looks like the company spent $266,000 on electrical equiptment at MMC in first quarter of 2014. Maybe it will one day get better at MMC or it will be a huge write down like the pipeline. I for one am exhausted waiting for MMC to pay off. It has been a terrible misadventure into a business way outside of drill, produce, polymer, produce more that I was led to believe would happen when the company would focus on oil production in Kansas. If the 5 million had been spent on drilling and Kansas oil opportunities where would we be now? Producing more than 20,000 bbls of oil a month for sure.

$68,000 to be more precise. It's not you. I am stupid. Stupid about TGC anyway. I have loaded the boat to overflowing with shares and hope one day for a big payoff. Only time will tell, I believe things will work out well. They have in the past with TGC. But I have been wrong before in stock investing before and so far am on the wrong side of profits in TGC since selling out 2 years ago at 1.18 and buying from .81 down to .36..

Do not be too concerned. I bought another 150k today. But someone else is definantly accumulating. I tried to buy at .43, and then .44 and then finally got some at .45 and above.

Oil at 106 this morning. TGC gets 99a barrel at these prices. This dog should be over a buck! Patience will eventually pay.

How about Salasgasco? Or maybe Hoactzingasco? Or maybe SSBMcInturfgasco? When will TGC start acting like a publicly traded company? I miss the "good old days" when there was a conference call for investors every 6 months or so.

    Earnings about what I expected.

Why no CC scheduled? What the heck is happening at MMC. Still spending money in Tennessee on this disasterous project? Spent 266,000 dollars? Why? Please explain some of these decisions management. Nothing said about drilling results?
