I understand that GMCR can be a volatile stock. I don't understand, however, why such a mediocre earnings report should have this big an effect upon the stock.
Is it just because it was beat down so bad?
Is there some extraordinary guidance prompting this kind of reaction?
Will it climb to the 90s by year-end? -
Stock is up big-time at 11am (+$1.35, +3.8%). I don't see any headlines for this and the market, in general, isn't running away. Any reason?

Market, at 11am on 5/10, is up for once. RDWR is on downside after good earnings early in the month. I see no horrendous news. How come? Anybody know?

I see no 'news' to indicate why RDWR is up 2.5% by 10:40 am. Anybody know anything ??

Just before this post there are two topics with updates stated, by Yahoo, as Aug 9 and Aug 14. I've looked at these and can find NO updates more recent than July 15.
Anybody have any idea why these topics' latest posting info is incorrect or am missing something. -
Today (6/23) started down big-time. How come FNSR is staying to the up side when most stocks are down, down, down?

GIGM reported earnings for 2011 Q1 on 5/25 (see http://finance.yahoo.com/news/GigaMedia-FirstQuarter-2011-prnews-613100555.html?x=0&.v=1). Yahoo shows no 2010 Q1 data and no 2010 Q4 data (Schwab also has no data for 2010 Q4).
How can a firm report 2011 Q1 before 2010 Q4?
Can anyone comment on why no Q4 data is available on GIGM? -
Not sure what you are implying. As of 10:55 ET stock is at 12.85 +2%.

Only saw 1/20/11 headline from Motley fool. DJ only up +70 (0.6%). Why is NBR up this much?

Yes, up over 8% day-day at 14:42! Volume at almost 600K while Yahoo's 3mo avg volume is only 713K. Sure would like to know why.

In Yahoo's "Analyst Estimates" a number of PBT's columns have "NA" in the fields and PBT's 'Current Quarter' is listed as "Sep 09" and its next quarter is "Dec 09". I checked on PBT's web site and it did report for September, 2009.
I wonder why Yahoo is so far out of date on this stock (I'm checking a lot more and this one stands out)? -
This is one of the few stocks up today. Why is that?

PBT is up 2% at 2pm on roughly 1/2 avg daily volume. I see no news on it. Any ideas?

At 10 am ET PL is up 2.4% on volume of 228K (roughly 1/4 of avg daily volume). I see no news or other notes (here) to explain it.
Anybody have a guess as to what id driving this upsurge? -
