Usually when Cramer has said to buy this it has gone down, and when he has said to sell it has gone up. Hopefully this will not follow suit.
How can you honestly say $10M a year? The evaluated profit per LCOS chip is valued at around $25. Their capacity was funded by google to bring production per month up to 2 million -- If they met production for one month thats $50 million in one month. What your seeing right now with HIMX is investors seeing the potential revenue of the LCOS not in just Glass, but other devices as well. The big play here I think won't be in America immediately but in Asia. They love stuff like this and will eat it up. Aside from sbaccus or whatever his name is, HIMX is solid and any news shoots this thing up.
I just wouldn't be short HIMX -- its too good of a stock to miss the rise in price. And I also have no problems with the guidance the past two quarters as they are probable legally bound not to discuss any plans for LCOS not just with Google, but with other companies as well.
I've got TNXP and Ive lost a ton these past few days. Why not short TNXP and go long HIMX? Seems you'd be better off
That article was as awful of an attempt to bash HIMX as I have seen. After each negative he said he had no choice but to almost contradict himself, like he wasn't convinced as to what he was trying to say.
Trying to free up more shares?
Noticed in premarket and loaded up, but flipped it for a nice profit around noon. Will wait and see what it does premarket in the morning to determine what if I'll jump back in
How ever then do you expect stocks to go up as companies increase value due to new products? With a company like this in this industry releasing a new product onto a market, you would expect to see this. Stock price increases have to start somewhere.
They could actually benefit greatly from a company like this being they are already in the circuit/computer business. It gets them in 3D industry, circuit board industry as well as semiconductors. It would make sense.
Report came out stating they have released a new, first ever of its type of 3D printers for consumer buy. Should take this beyond $8 this week.
I think it does and is, but people are scared at this price with the volatility it has. I think if it drops to the 20's then people will start to push it back up to the 30s and so on. There just isnt any real grasp on the value of VJET, and you've seen a 50% drop in 2 days, with more expected to come.
And has good reason to. This company isnt worth the price its trading at now, much less where it's been. I think it'll get there but just not for another year or so. I would buy anything below $20
