A Dallas company wants to put the first IMAX theater in Lexington on property close to Rupp Arena.
Dallas-based Look Cinemas has an option to buy property at the corner of West High Street and South Broadway with plans of putting in a IMAX theater and multiplex with 10 additional movie screens. The plans, which are still preliminary, also call for an upscale restaurant at that location.

Ltd., which operates under the brand Cinema Sunshine, for an IMAX® theatre to be located in Ikebukuro, one of the largest downtowns within Tokyo and the city's premier commercial and entertainment area. The theatre will be installed in a new complex, which upon completion will represent the largest scale multiplex in Tokyo. The deal brings Sasaki Kogyo's IMAX commitment to four theatres, of which three are currently open in the cities of Yamatokoriyama, Matsuyama-shi and Tsuchiura-shi.
It's the new technology that's bringing in the preeminent big boxes again.
That will add another 570 seats IMAX System from the Georgia Theater.

I look at "Avatar" pulling over 80 million. We also had "Detective Dee" in China, Stalingrad in Russia and a week in China, "Captain Phillips", "Thor", Hunger Games", " the Hobbit" still coming and possibly the "Police Story" the last week in China.
It's not an announcement of a deal. It's an annoucement of an opening. If you check Imax website, it is showing the Vienna theater is showing "Catching Fire". They never announce openings, just deals! They opened a new Regal in Chicago that I found by accident three weeks ago..
They don't have the same theater restrictions in China. Thy can play both at the same theater. Hopefully they'll play these 15-

Lionsgate’s The Hunger Games: Catching Fire has opened with $161.125 million, just barely surpassing the record for a 2D debut and scoring the biggest November debut of all-time. That includes$12.6m in IMAX alone (their biggest November debut as well).
Why would lasers be a major growth Generator ? It's the growth factor of pent up demand, that should move the stock. Look for a flurry of new screens to be added when the new system is actually put into use.

What you really need is some celeb or teen idol to say "You've got to see it in IMAX". Oprah Winfrey did this for "Avatar"! Critics did this for "Gravity".
One more thing wee not talking about the 8 liter engine, were talking about the new 12 liter 400 horse power engine that is four months old. The 8 liter engine will never pull the load.
This guy NGV doesn't know what he's talking about. You don't need LNG gas station everywhere. Only on the Long haul routes. Your not servicing consumer vehicles. Trucking is going where the profit is: LNG. Duh!!! CNG will service a different market. Delivery vehicles and autos. Ask yourself , where do you see diesel stations? Where the "Big Rigs" hang out.
