    Whatever happened to Alan Daniels?

You're still at it Ruffturd. You'll never change. Your case is a sad situation. You never have anything complimentary to utter. Just be thankful of all the various aspects of life the Guru taught you. Put what you learned into practice and move on. There's more to life than sitting on your duff in a small cubicle and wait for the Guru's expert comments. Guys like the Guru are not found on every street corner, you know. Wake up and smell the bronto beans.

    Good luck to you Ruffie.

Alan J Daniels -- gone but not forgotten

One needs talent to assess talent and obviously you don't have what is required to rate the Guru. To put it bluntly, your educator could mop the floor with you about anything that was discussed. You exhibited knowledge mainly on the topic of the Ionian sea. Other than that, no one believed you about anything you uttered. Boasting about having villas in every corner of the world didn't cut it. You were no match for him and most readers here were aware of it. His closest counterpart was Hotpanera.

The sad fact is that you chased both away and now you're paying the price. For your sake, I'm hoping it's a lesson you'll never forget.

some of you guys are still at it, huh?

With most of us, hope never fades. If it were the case, there would be no point in living. If it were not for hope, the heart would break. It is often said that hope sees the invisible, feels the intangible and achieves the impossible.

However, in your case Ruffturd, you still have high hopes. That's understandable. With bated breath, you're still awaiting one last engagement with your educator. He left you quite abruptly, didn't he, and you never got back on your feet after he did. I feel so sad for you.

The Guru is gone forever. He'll never be back. Why should he? He spent almost ten years educating you in various areas of life and you were too dumb to pay attention. Your whole time was spent on platitudes and being critical of everything he said or did. You know, doing things like the "shameless jackass would do. The Guru has moved on. He's now a self-made millionaire traveling the world whereas you're still in your reeky cubicle feeding on KFC. Some of us are too dense to pick up the cues from here and there even though the knowledge is offered on a silver platter.

The last thing I ever imagined

You would like everyone to believe the Guru's continuing success is a dead horse, but those that follow this thread know it's not.

Most would feel abashed if jeered in public, but not you. It's because you embody someone of few principles.

  • Guess what?

I spotted Ruffturd clipping the Guru's toenails this past week at the very place where he claimed he'd never set foot. In years past, I was one that couldn't understand why Ruffturd and Carolharold were so insistent on trying to find the Guru's address. I now have the answer. I never imagined that one day both would swallow their pride and would agree to help the Guru load up his wheelbarrow with hundred dollar bills. I can feel for them today. Bereft of acumen both needed to be successful, dabbling in someone else's bills gives them unearthly feelings, I reason.

Ah well, some of us were all talk. In the past, there was nothing that Ruffturd enjoyed more than the sound of his voice. He would at times come out with twenty to thirty continuous messages saying absolutely nothing. They were meant to annoy the serious readers. I'm sure that many of you haven't forgotten the "Shameless jackass" alias.

We can feel for you Ruffturd. People of the guru's caliber are not forgotten easily. Nevertheless, don't despair. Time heals all wounds.

The smart person would find something else to occupy his mind, but not you. He left such an indelible mark on you that every day you thirst of seeing him make an unexpected appearance. It will not happen. He's now a millionaire and still pushing the loaded wheelbarrow to the bank.

Find a new interest. Move out of your reeky cubicle. Make it a habit to get some fresh air and forget the Kentucky Fried Chicken that you're so enamored with. Move on to more healthy foods. Get together with your friend CarolHarold and discuss with him your Wal-Mart greeting jobs. Life is short.

When you give the guru labels that you've exhibited all tens years you've been on this board, it points to your weakness in evaluating yourself. I call it conceit, however, many would address it as being callow and obtuse.

Nevertheless, the guru is now gone. He's found other interests. You've never been in the picture as you were grossly mismatched. Your loss is everyone's loss. You acted like a child and he treated you like a child.

Let this be your lesson for the future. Turn a new page and solicit help. You need it badly.

  • bubblyjoe51 bubblyjoe51 Aug 15, 2014 7:45 PM Flag

Be a man Ruffturd and accept that your educator couldn't have cared less what you said or did. He had one goal in mind and that was to make you smarter than what you were. He's now gone, has developed new interest and has turned a new page. He did not have much interest in you as you constantly exhibited denseness. He got fed up wasting his time with you and has now taken his teachings to a higher level.

Ever since he left this board, his absence is being felt. You appear to be the most lost. You didn't have enough sense to appreciate talent when it was available at no price. Now, suffer the consequence of your stupidity.

Pfizer appears to be quiescent from a distance, however I'm convinced the head honchos are brainstorming every day as to what will be their next move. The Company desperately needs an injection of new medication.

What direction will the pharmaceutical giant choose to go is a good question, especially after being told "no dice" from Astra Zeneka? While the door is still ajar, I would assume there is still some interest in acquiring smaller biotechs outside the US in the area of 50 to 80B dollars. I doubt the British firm is still on the agenda.

Anyhow, in hindsight, 120B dollars was being too lavish with respect to that purchase. Being shut out has turned out to be a blessing in disguise. What say you?

The Guru took his money and ran. Just as simple as that. Through hard work and a flair for making money, he opted to start educating those like Ruffturd who didn't have a pot to pee in. Today, I suspect the millionaire is most happy and has plenty of time to run to Trader Joe and play the horses. When one is wealthy, you can do whatever you contemplate. I personally miss him a lot. Since his departure, this board has now become completely dysfunctional. Ruffturd became the biggest loser. He now sits alone in his reeky lair twiddling his thumbs. There's a steep price to pay for experience!

I can feel for you Ruffturd. It must be tough to spend the day in your little cubicle knowing the Guru has found new interest. You were told countless times you were playing with fire, but you always knew better than anyone else. Now, suffer the consequences of your stoopidity. The Guru has moved on and has never needed your assistance. As far as I know, he could very well be on another trip around the world.

Agreed, it has to be a lonely life for you, however, I hope you have learned something you can now put into practice. The Guru spent eight years educating you and all what he got in return from you was platitudes. I told you innumerable times to grow up and act your age, but it's been a lost cause.

Why don't you write him a note and tell him that you will go ahead with the cutting of his toenails. I'm sure he would appreciate that and would probably invite you over for some Trader Joe's chocolate. If you're really sincere, I'm sure there are ways to initiate a rapprochement. Take the initiative. It will not fall in your hands.

You're full of hops. Sell your shares and move on. No one is tying you down to Pfizer. Your friend the Guru got rid of his Pfizer shares and look where he is today in contrast to you still stuck in a little stinky cubicle.

You can try all you want to bring him back, but the Guru is a gonzo. He has moved on to something he won't be pestered daily by your ilk. He's never been accountable to you and will never be.

I realize the going is now tough for you Ruffturd. Finding other interests will be a break from what you've been doing during the past twelve years. You have his phone number. Why don't you phone him up and ask him if you can be his swamper? I'm sure he can use guys your size even though you have poor mobility.

In case you're not aware, your friend Ruffturd chased him away with his constant inanities. As you know, Ruffturd is the type of individual that's better than anyone else, has more money, has more education, has traveled the world umpteenth times, has villas and yachts around the world and also knows more than you'll ever know. The Guru finally got fed up with this nonsense. The Guru's loss is everyone's loss.

I'm laughing so hard I have tears coming down my eyes. Ruffturd was too thick between the ears to appreciate talent when it was available and is now crying in his soup. That serves him right.

I know how much you miss the Guru, however, get used to it. He's now gone forever and it's time for you to turn the page and find something else to do. Take it as a learning experience.

Get use to it Ruffturd. Your educator has left you for good, never to return. It's your loss. I warned you time and again, but you were too thick between the ears to see the light. You're just realizing it now. Ah well, some people never learn. You have now become poorer because of your ignorance. Live and learn.

I feel sad for you Ruffturd. Ever since I've been on this board your concern has always been as to how well or how bad the Guru was doing on a daily basis. Because you see him as a God you expected him to make money every day. In your view he's never been allowed to lose any money. I wasn't aware that you held him in such high esteem. I however knew that at some point in time you would admit your jealousy and get over it.

I had you pegged as riff-raff, however, with you changing your stance and finally seeing the light, I now take everything derogatory I've said about you. Frankly, I wasn't all that smart in misjudging you. I now take everything back.
