Bob call me a free speech guy and a realist. Any company CAN go BK. Some more likely than others. They can thumbs down my comments all they want and they can stick their heads in the sand if they want! I have the June '22 7.5% bonds.
OK 0 thumbs up, 2 thumbs down so far. What's wrong with the question? Did the thumbs down come from longs who think the company is wonderful? Or did they come from shorts who think 3% is way, way low?
I posted same thing on the Frontier board, I have bonds in both companies.
I'm saying there's a 10% chance this company doesn't make it.
I will start it off. 3% chance.
I"m an analyst, Mike. I look at every situation on it's own merits. This company serves no value. It's a place, as I said for people to make themselves look wonderful and show the world how many 'connections' they have. The stockholders are getting what they deserve. A sudden dose of reality.
TWTR actually serves some purpose and I have an account. Agree with you on LNKD and FB. It's a place where arrogance runs wild. Well, the high and mighty just got a dose of humility this morning.
Loving the drop! Have fun, bagholders.
The entire thing sounds like a big shell game. Take money from one part of the company, move it to another part, pick up some 'cash' along the way. Enron was able to keep things going for a while, up until the point that they had no more tricks up their sleeve and the entire big LIE came crashing down.
Good explanations. I will probably hold on as I see short term problems here but really don't see CLF going BK.
Is this company going to survive? I bought some bonds when they were around $700, now staring at a large paper loss and wondering if I should hang on?
I bought in last week after the Lockheed deal only to find myself down a quick $1,400 in no time.
More than happy to sell at a break even today!!!
