You tell .em Freddy. I don't know what makes those kind of people tick. They obviously don't have much common sense or understanding of the real world.
We had to order three trucks to stay up with the demand this week. The Ultra Zero is the hot one right now. We have run out of this twice now. I really think this Ultra line is pulling market share away from Red Bull as well as all others. The category can't be doing anything like we are doing, so we have to be growing at the competitors expense, along with some industry growth.. Ultra Zero, I wouldn't be surprised if it over takes the Green sometime early next year. We are going into our cold season and it is still selling like it was August.
From my understanding the GameChanger will stay intact through 2014 with 220 days of promotion. This still remains the corporate stores #4 beer, probably behind Bud Light, Coors Light and Lite. Nice to have a thing like that in your pocket going forward. The Chiver will be a pretty big deal as well. Good luck to all the longs.
We just came off of two record months in a row and I looked at our trucks this morning taking out more than they did the day before. This is not the time to be short on MNST. Sales are still escalating and the Ultra line is a huge success. I feel like this should be a really nice third quarter. I hope all longs get reqarded.
Muscle Monster sales are picking up, it may be a small category, but Monster will own it in another year from now. They are already number two. Sales should be good in the third quarter. Someone sad that Sept. was good. It was for us as well, but August was even better. I hope we are indicative of sales in other regions of the country. We recently had two add four plus shelves to nearly 20 stores and sales have nearly doubled in the stores since we did that. Each shelf holds nearly 4 cases and these stores give us seven shelves, plus warm space. A year ago we would not even had 28 cases of product in these stores. So despite some of the naysayers on this board, Monster is still going along pretty strong.
Hopefully international will provide an additional boost. The Monster logo and sports related items are also in high demand. This is Claw logo sets this company apart from the other energy drink companies. Let's all hope for a big 3rd quarter.
I helped build an American flag out of the Ultra series of cans the white, red, and blue cans. We just got the red in on Thurs and it makes for a nice display. It took right at 200 hundred cases to build. This particular store is our fourth largest account, for Monster and the general mgr. said it would barely take two weeks to sell down the entire display. This is the second time we built a display of over 200 cases in this store. The display got sent to national and it is supposed to be on their website. It would be nice if other wholesalers built similar displays and have a 1,000 or even two thousand displays like this. When retailers are willing to tie their money up on displays like this they generally know that the product will turn and make a difference. This is a convenience store that is also a truck stop. Truckers drink allot of Monster, but this store mgr., said it is mostly the locals buying it. Just another way to get Monster ahead of the rest.
I just spent most of the day doing resets of soft drinks, water, and energy drinks. I never thought I would see the day that a 10 door set had one door devoted to Pepsi and one to Coke and the others to energy drinks, water, power drinks etc.. As for as sales go, I don't think you know what you are talking about. We are having one of our best years and I saw the numbers from about 14 other states, so if you are trying to get people to sell on your news, I don't think you are giving good insight or information.
We have gained more space this year than we did last year and the really big operators that have good data are seeing that this is where the action is. The drinks are becoming more and more main stream and the Muscle Monster is starting to find it's niche. The teas are starting to pay big dividends as well. The Ultra Zero could be the #1 brand over the green sometime in early 2014 the wyay the trends are right now. The lesser brands are hanging in there on price and losing space.
I am a fan of this stock and when it turns it will turn upwards in a big way. As this company matures and diversifys it will be a long term hold for investors. Too many naysayers right now.
We just came off the largest month in the history of our company...up high double digit and I know of at least 14 states that have numbers over twice what you have mentioned for the year, with bigger numbers the last two months. I for one do not think it will ever get close to your $38.00 prediction. Next month the Ultra Red comes out and one of our retailers has already designed an American Flag with them, that will take around 240 cases to build. I can see a number of retailers utizing the red, white, and blue.
It's amazing SF doesn't mind the kids having a few reefers, but by gosh if they have a cup of coffee or a Monster look out. Liberals lack common sense and they sure aren't very good at business, but they sure as hell like getting into your business.
