How long did it take you to calculate THAT yield? What was the fundamental reason for it to hit 65 a year ago when the price was 43 and the yield was 5%? The smart one's on this board have bought and held for a way above average return and a nice income while you try to scalp penny moves shorting. Forget the meds donk, I think it's time for a lobotomy.
I literally laughed out loud when I read this one. Earnings explained by declining popcorn sales? You can't make this stuff up!
You're right for once. I can't remember ever seeing a Walgreens or a CVS in a mall. They're usually in stand-alone buildings. As for either being an O tenant...Walgreens occupies 176 locations and CVS 61. What else ya got donkey kong?
It looks pretty easy to me. I still have my sodastream somewhere around here. I should try it. You can buy food grade dry ice pellets for about $2 a pound from continental carbonic. That's 450 grams and you only need 14 to fill one.
Nice find kholleys. This video proved my earlier point how inexpensive CO2 really is and how soda is reaming their customers by overcharging. The guy in the video said he only gets about 50 liters out of the 60. That's 60 cents per liter just to carbonate! Target sells their market pantry sparkling water for 72 cents a liter. Any flavor you want. Short more if you can.
You have an ultra fast broker. You can short, cover and get the money in your account the same day? Must be fullloadinmyshortstradedotcom
Why you should buy this REIT instead of your own building.
The obvious....A commercial property can cost 100's of thousands.
1) You don't keep a tax deduction. Unless you're submitting a fraudulent return, any deduction is money spent.
2) How does a property yield anything?
3) You keep all of the upside in share appreciation and dividends also.
4) Zero, as you like to call them, shares their profits with us. They do all the work, we sit back and collect our money.
5) You don't pay capital gains on stocks either unless you sell.
Add another hotel to baltic avenue Donk. The yields are great LOL
Ah there it is. You are AMDbottomfisher. Well I'm sure you didn't get lucky enough to get in AMD at the bottom. Buy SODA at $2. You might make a dollar a share because that's when the shorts cover. Are you going to post you position tonight or what?
Cold how did my comment come across as not knowing what I'm talking about?
4skin, I will go short 500 shares tomorrow morning and post it as soon as it's executed if you disclose your position and dollar cost average. You talk a big game and are as bullish on a down trending, going nowhere stock as I've ever seen, so what's your position?
You talk up the margins on their CO2 so much, but did you ever think about how much the big bottlers pay to carbonate their drinks in the factory? It's probably less than 1 cent per liter. They have this pee wee company over a barrel simply over price points and they will continue to drive the nails in their coffin until their stock is worthless. Why do you think they haven't partnered with anyone yet? The bottlers do more volume for LESS money. Why buy SODA?
About my earlier comment on how cheap you can buy a 2 liter....You know most groceries stores are lucky to break even on their soda sales? The product moves off the shelves and it attracts shoppers to their stores when they run sales, which most of the time they will LOSE money on. You will never see that with SODA because there is a big start up cost for the end user. Hence the small end caps that they have left at stores that still want to carry the brand.
Earnings are right around the corner. They haven't disappointed the shorts in 5 years. I see that trend continuing.
I had to post this after seeing what their refills cost at wal-mart. A 60 liter for $30? That's a joke. I thought they were around $10 $15. You could buy almost 30 2 liters for the same price at a gas station or grocery for JUST the CO2! That's a crime. SODA users are getting rogered.
Going long or short a stock no matter what it is always has substantial risk of loss. Welcome to the stock market? Man you're a tool
I was being sarcastic value. I'm the biggest bear there is when it comes to SODA
Bob, all you have to do is drive from store to store to find the SODA product that you want. What's wrong with going to Target to get your CO2 refills, then Wal-mart to get your syrups, and if they dont have the syrup you want there's always a BBBY around. I know that sounds like a hassle but who just grabs a 12 pack at their first stop anymore? Plus you don't have to lug that 12 pack around. They are heavy!
A better question would be, why is'nt the short buying pushing the price higher? Because there's no real buyers maybe? Please buy more MORON. As a matter of fact go long on margin because this is a cant' miss opportunity. IDIOT!
Is that how you try to get your point across ken4skin? By calling people names? Kind of easy to make a play on a screen name huh? Ken4skin, why don't you go play with yours
We all understand what's going on very well. It's kind of hard to convince someone a stock is undervalued when they can plainly see the price has been in a landslide for 2 years. If SODA ever turns their fundamentals around and becomes truly "undervalued" I will be the first one from this board to buy some shares. You're trying to see something that just is'nt there by constantly wanting to discuss enterprise value and all the nonsense price ratios. The only value investors are concerned with here is MARKET value vs earnings. That's how you determine if a stock is undervalued. SODA's earnings are declining and you're telling us to look at enterprise value? Gimme a break.
Ken some of your posts sound like you're extremely PO'd and you're very obsessed with SODA. Are you a bagholder from the highs back in 2011? :O
I'm not the one who posted 5 different times in an hour with the same subject matter. It's the # of CO2 refills that determine the value of the franchise not the # of machines sold!!!! Got that everyone!?
Ken you sound like a broken record. You've been saying sooner than later for a few months now as the price and volume are stagnant as ever. Isn't it later yet? I think it is
