Lock in "your profits," move on and never look back. Or simply say you are short.

If you must own these types of companies invest in something like a LMT. I purchased shares over 20 years ago and only trimmed 15% of my holdings on two occasions. Also once owned General Dynamics for 11 years, but sold those long ago.

Owned KTOS once and added, but sold all a year or so ago for profits 25-40% if I recall correctly. Thought they'd breakout to 9-10s but they did not. Paid myself and moved on. I might consider KTOS again, but only for trade, which I don't often do.. even then there are many lower risk, higher reward stocks to own that don't have the debt ratio KTOS does and are profitable. Despite their problems, KTOS has potential, but desperately needs to reduce expenses, increase margins, and have better focus... also IMHO too many overpaid chiefs that have far too little accountability!

LOOK AT THE historical charts comparing LMT and KTOS since 2000. It proves my point.

Total fabricated rubbish, but you know that. This is one of the best stocks to own for the coming decades.

The Chairman is collecting $2M salary and owns 4.4M+ shares. As he is building the company up via acquisitions, hopefully he shifts towards profitability in 2015 and ultimately has a plan to make this highly profitable and/or sells it off within the next several years.

I believe FCX will eventually break through 60s and beyond... and your wish will be granted. Sleep well owning this company that is reinventing themselves.

    Eagle Ford sale will help.

Cash flow will remain stained rest of this year and into 2015, but slowly improve. And yes, I will also feel better once they come to a meeting of the "minds" in Indonesia. Each additional asset sale that helps reduce debt and work the Gulf is a step towards improving cash flow. I believe. they are no longer your father's Oldsmobile... it would be wonderful to see them turn this company around somewhere close to how Micron has done in tech that past several years. While I'm not suggesting that metric rise we could see a much better-stronger more diversified company emerge that's much different than the old FCX. I cannot tell you when... but once this takes off it will go in steps that can bring a double from over the next several years.

FCX is a MUCH more and better diversified company today, IMO. This is the type of long-term hold to sleep well owning through retirement... Copper, other materials.... Gold and some Silver... now Oil and Gas... all excellent things this world will need in our lifetimes. This management will not be held hostage by Indonesia government forever or their government may be in for an unpleasant surprise.

At what point do you pay yourself along the way of this one? No need to answer.
Congrats on your paper profits, hopefully you have at least some tangible profits, too

Thank you for clarifying your 31 prediction. So we we are on the same page you no longer believe... "If I am right, CYNO's stock should snap immediately back to near $31+." ... Rather, 31 within 12-months, which to me seems more reasonable, not that it couldn't move much quicker, as when it dropped. My experience is high tech and not medical/medical devices, so I'm sure that you know much more than I do,

Thanks for EXAS, but I much pass (and honestly did not seriously investigate them). I've been reducing my high-risk and speculative holdings, including biopharma-types the past 12 months. Until a few others do well or I exit them, my plan is not to add others and I must stick with my plan, no matter how tempting. One that I've owned for a whole is KERX and that's done very well. Enjoy your summer and I hope we both exceed expectations with CYNO.

Hope you are correct, but you never did address or mention that many sales distribution sales forces stopped selling prior to last Q for fear of losing lines. Unless they were kickstarted hard and fast, there 's no guarantee is all I'm saying. I also find it hard to imagine a stock with this small of shares traded moving 10 points immediately after earnings. I own some, but have not added at these levels. If I miss the run up, so be it. I hope you are correct.

  • I'm hoping we hear another announcement during the next 4-12 weeks that WFT is selling additional assets. This could give us the next small incremental leg up depending on how substantial the sale and the debt reduction plans that could be announced. Relieved we have stability above 20.... its been a long wait.

If they launch direct, I am growing in confidence that they can and will be very successful.
At the same time I think there is a 90% chance they get acquired and for a very good price!

Yes, that was my first thought last year. STO purchased BEXP, but not at the premium I was hoping for. I thought BEXP would have been better off going it alone another 12 months, but Bud took the one-in-the-hand.

There are so many candidates out there, it could be any one of a dozen or two of companies. I'd like to see production up and some debt reduced and us in the $12-14 range at a minimum before that might happens. I care less about what they do with the pipeline... there's good value holding it or spinning it out... either way. Fun to speculate, but anyone's guess is as good as another at this point. Obviously, they need to execute above all else this year and 2015 for BO to become more of a realistic possibility YE15 - 2016 based on my pea-sized knowledge today.

Best to all longs. Hope ya'll have a relaxing summer with family and friends.
