As a major investment? Probably good to go...Under $50 is a steal. The divvie is decent, prospects are good...yeah, hold on.
And as a bonus, 100 shares gets you an "On Board Credit" of $100 !!!
That stuff adds up if you cruise a couple of times....
I agree, go take a cruise!
One cautionary statement...if the world is truly coming to an end, do you want to be caught on a cruise line at sea when the Zombie Apocalypse explodes? Read the book "World War Z" ...a ship at sea might not be where you want to be.
How's that $33 call working out for you???
I'm seeing $36+ today! Seeing $40's in the new year...maybe high 40's buy year's end. No crystal ball, just a guess based on volume of online sales that PYPL gets a cut of.
I don't see much derogatory in the comments section but a pretty consistent 9-10 thumbs-down.
I've been looking at OLLI but do not have the free cash to leave alone long enough to see the growth that is possible across the next few years. Maybe options for the Fall? Not sure. Anyone want to make a reasoned argument for a specific price and timeline?
Yeppers.....and always when you least expected it.
that's actually kind of funny...I'll give you a thumbs up for that!
Interesting history lesson. Tracks awfully close to GM and Delphi. Once Delphi got spun off, they were 100% on their own, even though the pensions were underfunded. The GM bankruptcy killed all manner of lower tier support companies but only GM direct employees were protected. Everyone else got to go plead their case to the Pension Guarantee Board. Everybody lost and were reduce anywhere from 25-60%. Legal? Sadly, yes. Ethical? Stickier wicket there. Delphi was rather foolish to step off without fully funded pensions. GM retains zero obligation to the Delphi employees...that's standard Business Law.
It's a loooong way to the water and it will hurt when you get there. Recalling many an "Abandon Ship" drills from back in the day. Long way to fall...and then add in the speed of the ship. Just too many variables trying to kill you.
