touch subject here...sorry for the inappropriate imagery. You did make an interesting comment "Harassment claims are common"... Yes, yes they are. Many are found to be nothing more than hurt feeling BUT two in the same office is usually a very bad sign. Then again, I'm speaking from waaaay over here and have zero facts beyond what you have provided.

BTW, a claim of harassment is not proof. Dismissing a manager based on a claim is truly shaky grounds for dismissal. Once the Manager admits, bets are kind of off. But I would be curious as to the nature of the harassment. We had a gal file over here based on a breakup and hurt feelings. Yeah, the both admit to the fling but she claimed he wouldn't let it end. Is that enough to dismiss? Investigation showed nothing, not even email contact from the acknowledged breakup date. But his life was a living hell for a month or so..

Carnival Searching Bags for Booze now

One of the odder sights I saw when I boarded a few months ago was the number of folks bringing cases of water with them. Quoting from the Carnival FAQ's

Guests are prohibited from bringing alcoholic beverages on board. However, at the beginning of the cruise during embarkation day, guests (21 years of age and older) may bring on board one 750 ml bottle of wine or champagne, per person, only in their carry-on luggage. A $15 corkage fee per 750 ml bottle will be charged should you wish to consume this wine in the main dining room or steakhouse. (A corkage fee is a charge exacted at a restaurant for every bottle of liquor served that was not bought on the premises)

On embarkation day, each guest may bring a small quantity of non-alcoholic beverages on board and only in their carry-on luggage. A small quantity is considered a maximum of 12 bottles and/or cans, 20 ounces each or less.

Pretty straight forward...almost a "Thou shalt not"

yeah, I was going to comment as well but I didn't want to feed the wolf, so to speak.

But since you did it first...congrats on lucking into one!

Any Clue as to why this thing has jumped more than 10%? Aside from the obvious irrational exuberance that is? I'll even spot you some words like "Potential" and "Ground-Breaking". Seriously, I can find nothing in the spots I go check and the volume isn't enough to drive it THAT much...well, at least I don't think so.

So please clue me in all you smart people out there. BTW, I only own this because it fell in my lap via the HBIO spin-off.

And Still the Only Poster Here

Personally, I'm holding for at least another 6-9 months. I want to allow this company a chance to stand and show that it is, in fact, a competent medical supplier of niche products. I'm expecting to see an actual profit across the Summer months. Will that translate into share prices? Who truly knows. There are some folks who seem to think that this is a buyout candidate now that HART has departed. I'm not so convinced of that. I'm seeing the little engine that could...

My guess (or technical evaluation...whatever) is that we could see HBIO sitting around 6 by year's end. Basically, a 30+% run across the 7 months remaining. Nice, but don't bet the farm on that. Seriously, think about how much you are paying for this "advice"...

Not a shock to most folks that follow this though it's pretty clear that more than one or two folks were quite surprised!. My gift shares will stay put for some time.

Finished a Cruise on the Victory

And so the smoker responds with typical bluster and pushback. Pretty clear you didn't get the gist of my post. It was far more than just a casino issue. And yes, I did "just stay out of the casino". And in the process, the cruise line was deprived of my few extra dollars in the bar tab and probably whatever I would have dropped into the machines or at the tables. Both my Bride and I do enjoy an evening in the local casino back here in Ohio. Super thing is that they are Non-Smoking here! Too bad we couldn't do it at sea.

Still, not particularly significant as one couple, I think the worse we have ever done was to drop about $100 on drinks and gambling a few years ago at the Columbus Casino when it opened. But if there is one couple voicing this concern, you can be pretty sure there are multiple couples...
