so why do the bagholders have to be "fools"? maybe some of us have so little UNTD left after the spin that it really doesn't hurt us to watch.
You already know the answer to that question. The only true question is where will we be in a week or so? Me...I'm thinking 12.50 - 13 and a renewed interest in just what this company truly is...or about to become.
Please no flaming, let me enjoy this victory on this day.
Yes, I should sell and pocket my profit but I'm just not of the day trader mindset. Oh well, good luck to those that are far more nimble than I.
Yeah, about that...I can't seem to get the cause and effect thingie working for that prediction.
that's actually kind of funny...but I bought in low so I'm actually ahead here...well, right now.
Now HBIO is kind of dull...curious what the next 6-12 months bring.
I'm thinking a slow but steady rising income that is no longer clouded by the cash drain of HART and a potential buyout once the final HART expenses are cleared.
So you claim to have just casually dropped near $90,000 for a stock "That seems pretty solid"...and you post this on a Yahoo message board???
GL Dude,...but I don't believe you.
Potential? Sure. Profitability? Maybe not so much. My real concern is whether or not this company has sufficient cash to continue operations without a severe dilution within the next 2-3 years. Remember, HART could always depend upon HBIO being a cash cow of sorts. I remain concerned over cashflow, both now and for the immediate future. Earnings will begin to tell the tale.
And yes, I own thanks to the split. I held because I too, see the potential here.
As an Ohio resident, my thoughts reside with that poor lady he killed and the child that never took a breath. I wonder if she gasped? I wonder if she thought of her child?
His death? Honestly, he was gone long before his unconcious body attempted to continue sucking air. If I were king for a day. Shoot the SOB. My sympathies always reside with the victim.
And please spare me the hair-splitting about his "sad history". The courts are pretty good at determining who can be held accountable based on mental capacity...impulse control and a sucky life usually aren't mitigating factors. We all make choices. Some choices can get us on Death Row.
Good ridence to bad rubbish.
Nobody really knows what this is?
Under the UNTD umbrella, FTD was a cash cow that they used to cover company weaknesses. Now standing on its own, FTD "should" show decent profitability and the stock will react to the news once it becomes available..
Yeah, the underperforming stinks but I think most of that can be attributed to the fog generated by the spinoff. And yes, plans and commentary from the FTD board certainly would clarify things. I am expecting better days in the near future and thinking a $35 value by Valentine's Day is doable.
That's the problem most of us see...Nobody really has a clue as to what's up with UNTD and won't until a couple of earnings seasons have passed. Most of us agree that the majority of the valuation departed with FTD leaving UNTD a pale shadow of what it was if you only look at valuation. The saving grace to this from my perspective is that I really don't have that much in play under the UNTD banner. Most of my valuation departed with FTD.
Now why it's going up? Shesh, I'm clueless...unless someone is seeing this as a buyout opportunity...that might give the stock a small premium. Sadly, I'm not seeing where sales, or future sales, supports this stock price. In fact, income probably supports a price below $10...and yet, here we are above $13.
I got nothing to justify the volume. Just holding out of curiousity really.
