Yeah, about that...I can't seem to get the cause and effect thingie working for that prediction.
Actually, that's a pretty accurate headline...well, the second part at least.
Potential? Sure. Profitability? Maybe not so much. My real concern is whether or not this company has sufficient cash to continue operations without a severe dilution within the next 2-3 years. Remember, HART could always depend upon HBIO being a cash cow of sorts. I remain concerned over cashflow, both now and for the immediate future. Earnings will begin to tell the tale.
And yes, I own thanks to the split. I held because I too, see the potential here.
As an Ohio resident, my thoughts reside with that poor lady he killed and the child that never took a breath. I wonder if she gasped? I wonder if she thought of her child?
His death? Honestly, he was gone long before his unconcious body attempted to continue sucking air. If I were king for a day. Shoot the SOB. My sympathies always reside with the victim.
And please spare me the hair-splitting about his "sad history". The courts are pretty good at determining who can be held accountable based on mental capacity...impulse control and a sucky life usually aren't mitigating factors. We all make choices. Some choices can get us on Death Row.
Good ridence to bad rubbish.
From what I can see, that's with only 10501 shares traded after hours around about 7:30. Then again, I do not have access to up to the minute data. Still...WooHoo!!!!! BTW, Pre-market is showing the same sort of action...High of 9.78, low of 9 as on about 0830.
I do like the P&D comments but one question. Wouldn't we hear of it? I've heard and seen nothing. After all, a "Pump" requires some sort of physical or electronic contact with the masses. Otherwise you are just shouting down the well...kind of like most Yahoo Boards.
Something to contemplate...just over a million shares traded hands yesterday. If we pick a mid-point value of $8 a share, only about $8 million dollars caused all the movement. Even with the big up of the last few days, HART is only a roughly 70M company. Remember, we're a small company. Small companies really dance when there is news or rumor.
So, any News or Rumor???
For the moment.
Keeping my whopping 1000 spin off shares looks like genius right now! Anyone aware of something? I see well over 200K shares moving as of about 0945. Of course that's only about 1.6 million in real dollars, but still...
Odd, whenever I talk to Jesus, he tells me to quit making stupid decisions and let him do his job on the landscaping. I've found that Jesus is almost always correct, that why I hired him to do my rentals, though he passed most of that job off to his son in law now. 15 years of a business and later friendship relationship still going strong.
If you need a good landscaper in the Miami Valley (Ohio) maybe I can hook you up!
And on the other guy, even Indiana Jones understood that "The Penitant Man is Humble Before the Lord." Probably a good idea for all and most situations.
Actually, that's a good question. HBIO "should" show some profitability next year as the Money Sponge that is/was HART is removed from the equation. Don't get me wrong, I own HART and HBIO and am fairly pleased with the combo so far. I held through the split. My expectations? HBIO shows decent profit (not big) come the Springtime. HART kind of meanders until some good news posts for a sharp uptick. question is, will that uptick be a flash or a new plateau?
wow, once the allure wore off, nobody really trades this thing now. As of about 1:30 today, we are looking at only 10K shares traded.
Then again, let these guys make one or two good announcements...Boom, $7+
any reasonable guesses as to where the rump UNTD will wind up?
I obviously held on but kind of doubt myself now. Sort of figured a clean set of books would give me a better feel for the company but it's not that time yet.
I hear ya...and thanks for pointing out the RS again. But even my simple mind has to accept that by pulling the FTD value out, maybe a sub $2 value is appropriate. Looking at my account, the value of my FTD stake is slightly more than 3 times the value of my UNTD. So it all still sort of tracks in my head.
Am I trying to convince myself that holding is correct? Seems that way. Fortunately, the spin-off left me with not much on the FTD line. *scratches head*
And I can't agrue against that position either. HART was/is a money pit. Super potential to change medicine as we know it, but a money pit right now.
That's the problem most of us see...Nobody really has a clue as to what's up with UNTD and won't until a couple of earnings seasons have passed. Most of us agree that the majority of the valuation departed with FTD leaving UNTD a pale shadow of what it was if you only look at valuation. The saving grace to this from my perspective is that I really don't have that much in play under the UNTD banner. Most of my valuation departed with FTD.
Now why it's going up? Shesh, I'm clueless...unless someone is seeing this as a buyout opportunity...that might give the stock a small premium. Sadly, I'm not seeing where sales, or future sales, supports this stock price. In fact, income probably supports a price below $10...and yet, here we are above $13.
I got nothing to justify the volume. Just holding out of curiousity really.
lol...maybe your weekend game should consist of something other than just flowers?
Personally, I always found a single rose sincerely presented to be more valued than bouquet dialed in. But what do I know...I never really had "game" and I married the rose girl.
We celebrate our 30th anniversary in Feb.
Oh the agony of indecisiveness...
Nope, still holding. I really can't argue your comments since I can see some truth in it...but shorting their own stock? That's like Pete Rose betting against the Reds. On the good news side, I really don't have that much at risk here with UNTD anymore. Most of the value resides in FTD.
Still wish I could get a clear picture of where this company expects to be in 6 months, a year, and three years. Aside from BK or bought out that is.
