Poetry...or Punditry...whatever. Slope of Hope was a nice image. Thanks.
But does HART even have a two year chart to review? They raised this money for a reason. If that reason is valid in the eyes of Mr Market, share prices will not drop too much. And honestly, who predicted a 10%+ jump on that news? I certainly didn't expect it. Maybe Mr Market is seeing something you don't...like maybe a company with a plan and the means to succeed?
The only thread now visible to me in the 3 month window is the PennystocksWeekly spammer. And that drops off in about two weeks. Ah well, guess everybody sold and went over to HART.
Stay warm, it's 16 with a 30mph wind outside in SW Ohio...
gotta ditto the other comments. This is not a surprise to folks going ashore and it was no surprise to me when I returned with a bottle on rum that went into storage.
Funny thing, that bottle of rum tasted soooo much better in the tasting room at the distillery than it did once I got it home. Odd...didn't expect the taste to be so "situational".
been on both sides...I just enjoy little victories as they come. Had investments wiped out as well. All that said, I'm feeling pretty patient with this stock. Then again, this stock was a gift to me via the Spin-Off.
You shorts are BURNING!!!! There, feel better? Go find a significant other and have a super Valentine's Day...Stay Warm!
I actually debated buying some additional stock late last week but then reminded myself that I do NOT know enough about this stock to invest. Pretty basic rule for me, I understood HBIO...HART, not so much. I need to be content with the spin-off that I have and just enjoy the goodness...for now.
One comment though, 70% of his income is 37K? He's making just north of $50K??? And Yes, I know his reward is the options to purchase at a later date so that sort of focuses his attention on the bottom line.
Why does Citi attract so many spammers? While other boards have them too, they are not quite as "spammy" and a few actual comments make the front page!
BTW, temp here in SW Ohio is 6, wind chills running -10, expected low tonight is -12 with wind chills in the -20 to -30 range. On the good news side, the Cincinnati Reds pitchers and catchers began their first day of Spring Training workouts in Arizona!
And the Chinese would never, ever, copy a product regardless of patent protection. Nope, not those people!
Sorry, seen it happen too many times. While the product can be protected in the Western world with a sizable investment in legal work, the knock-off can dominate China and enrich the Chinese factory owners...who, quite oddly, always seem to be favored sons of leadership or the PLA.
and that's pretty much why I'm just watching from the sidelines right now. Not smart nor quick enough to catch trending anything so I'll let it settle out and get back to basics.
Hey, don't be so quick to discount Developing-Nation Brothels! All manner of financial bargains in there once you account for the various and unique risk factors...
Certainly cheaper than a Divorce...well, as long as the Penicillin keeps working.
Ya killed me with that one! Goes to show "they" rarely know what's up, just pump or trash, either side is fine as long as it pays.
Funny, the 100 Shares I purchased back on 12 March 2014 @$38.73 for the OBC and never got around to selling have earned for me the following in the last year...
$600 and some pennies in Capital Gains
$100 in Dividends paying at $25/Qtr
$100 in OBC which we pretty much spent through by the third day at sea
And a Free Lifetime Membership to this forum!
Again, what's not to like?
all kidding aside, it wasn't that long ago and that was Los Angeles. Though I'm pretty sure China has it worse. Still, I remember the haze of my younger day when driving through Pittsburg, Youngstown, or any of the steel cities. We've made some strides...
Now a question, is GLW actually positioned to profit from this situation? I'm not so sure that Corning is the company to offer the solution...
Problem solved...they will receive no further dismay reports of non-conformity.
Kind of nice to be able to dismiss your bad news like that. Of course, if I "decided" to identify as a gal to get into the showers, I would be designated a Tier III sex offender...go figure
Outstanding! You enjoy yourself!
My quest for that $100 OBC actually paid for my last cruise if you count in the Capital Gains across the last year. What's not to like?
And with Carnival giving the China and Far East Market a serious set of eyeballs, we may be seeing a target price of $53+ by year's end. Lots of assumptions in there of course...
