solid. Could trade a few cents higher or lower, makes no difference to me.
Revenue 25.5m beat by 1.1M, eps. -.11, miss by .05.
affect the chatter on yahoo boards.
Not sure how the derivative works but think it involves price per share and the notes. Some quarters that move was the bulk of the loss. 4k outside shot at moving the needle to eps. positive.
Earnings has never moved the stock, in the past year they have had a .02 and .03 beat, a .01, and .04 miss, the biggest move was .25 up, but the average move has been.12 down. The derivative swings on their balance sheet creates a lot of paper losses and sometimes gains impacting eps. Last Q revenue was down for the first Q ever, mainly from opko labs slumping sales. If that rebounded and the rest of the company had marginal growth, and if the 5m from tsro is put on a revenue line, not R&D credit, then revenue could be close to 28 million. So too many moving parts to guess, the derivative swings being the big one. Look at the cash on hand, and cash burn rate, that tells more than an eps. beat IMHO.
So if I had to guess I would go with Chuck, .02 beat. There is always a chance they break even or heaven forbid make a penny depending on 4k sales, but not counting on it.
If 11K doctors is accurate 550 using 4k = 5% penetration.
Launched March 31, 2014.
Aug 12 CC = 170 doctors = 1.5% penetration after 6 months.
Nov 10 CC = 360 doctors = 3.2% at 9 months
Current 550 doctors = 5 % approaching 1 year mark.
Growth is roughly 200 docs. every 90 days.
However the post they just deleted was not opko rahrah, which I usually never post anyway. More a bear post but really net neutral, but thought out non the less. Here, delay on nda rayaldee messed up my timeline by 5mo not good, but really do not care long term.
When kai talked about hardware companies contacting OPK for aids, and how the opk platform could do this. I thought of Apple first and first. WHY? Distribution. Then weeks later I thought WOW, TIM COOK is gay, yes, opko could help end aids globally and Mr. Cook could find it interesting hooking up with FROST, sleep on that GUY, OR is it PAL, or a FRIEND, lol.
Well here is a disparaging remark, URADOPE. There R 4-5 posters here that have honor, u r not one. Sir bin.
I agree HaHa, I have one screen name, I post facts usually? BUT do have non sense posts on Friday, lol. I never curse, never swear, never disquisefecalcrap because that IS OFFENSIVE even to me, no it was a hack by a short, or a long who did not like my blatant honesty. Not negative, but not gun ho opko either.
Tell you what, someone has hacked yahoo id's, but they never say a word. NO ONE should be able to delete but the author.
I put a tad of thought into it, I did NOT delete it, but this has been the norm here. To rewrite it to have it deleted again oyvay.
U R responding as IF you saw my last post, well I do not see it, it vanished.
put time and thought into many, some are trash, but hate when I take the time to go over earnings reports, or a cc, etc., post investor relevant info, to not find it an hour later.
Long haul, is the out, could be in the year 2025, which would be a great annual rate of return. How does it get there? We might not even own those products, but 10 years, could happen.
If you are looking at nas markets for that data click on date twice. You will see two funds have not filed their current 13f, those 2 sold out, and combined represent 7,326.500 of the sold out shares. One of those was Orchard Hill management. Orchard Hill was an investor who was part of the group in the convertible note offering. After converting his note he sold his position at a nice profit. These are 7,326,900 of the sold out shares. Orchard hill owns only 2 other stocks in their portfolio.
So it should read 22 funds sold out 926,350 shares, 17 new funds 798,641 or a net reduction of about 125k shares in that section.
I did too, but I looked at the Q&A at our lab and they gave a 395 price, not yet covered by insurance.
I agree, 395 cost, they said at the CC they are setting up a financial assistance program in q2. The NCCN guideline if that happens will be the big gun, they have the issued cpt code but it does not go active for a while. I think once they get in the NCCN guidelines they might get over 50% of doctors using the test, and maybe way more than that. I think the uptake has been slow but it appears to have picked up steam.
