Love the interviewers' "schtick" - Mike interviews well. a tiny spike in volume last week. If what was told in the interview is on - then you would think people would be buying it up. Might be nice to share this link with as many investors as you can. I know I will. Though Obama and Obamacare are a NIGHTMARE, the interviewer brings up a good marketing point. With the cost of insurance SPIKING under Obamacare they will need cost saving devices. However, this admin. is so over the top with cronyism, if Mike were "in the club" we would already see results from it. By his response I get the feeling he is no fan. And because of Obamacare device makers like Spectra Science are taking up the rear with new ACA (Obamacare) taxes.
it certainly bodes well short and long term for us. Any increased credibility worldwide does not hurt. Again, our share price does not seem to reflect where we are currently as a co. Lack of quarterlies, even with the snafu from previous accounting firm, is not helping us. Out market is HUGE.
SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwired - Mar 4, 2014) - SpectraScience, Inc. (OTCQB: SCIE), a medical device company utilizing light technologies to detect and diagnose cancers, announced today that has submitted a request to the German organization DIMDI (German Institute of Medical Documentation and Information) for a unique OPS (Operationen und ProzedurenSchlussel) code for the WavSTAT4 Optical Biopsy System. Acquiring a unique OPS code will allow German hospitals to measure the use of the WavSTAT® System and make provisions to include it in the highly evolved prospective payment system called the German DRG.
"This is an important first step which will allow us to accelerate our sales efforts in hospitals across Germany once the code is granted," said Michael Oliver, SpectraScience's President and CEO. "We expect the decision process regarding our request to take from six to nine months. In the meantime we will encourage interested hospitals to make NUB (Neue Untersuchungs und Behandlungsmethoden) Application."
The NUB application allows for negotiated reimbursement between individual hospitals utilizing a new technology and the approval authority (InEK). This pathway has the potential to accelerate market access for new technologies, but requires significant effort from hospitals making the application. Each hospital will be required to submit an NUB application individually. Before a NUB is issued the product must be adequately used, correctly coded and exhibit a cost profile that makes a significant difference.
Mr. Oliver added, "The bottom line is that our WavSTAT4 Optical Biopsy System provides a fast, safe, accurate and cost-effective way to differentiate benign and cancerous lesions in the colon with a 96% negative predictive value. We look forward to making it available to patients throughout the German healthcare system."
I suppose buying a few shares here wouldn't hurt. Who knows, might buy a few more after the first - again. Though, it would be nice to be selling a few because it is a t price worth selling...
I would think the CFO that left - Jim Dorst - was the one who set it up with MG. That, after all would fall under his job description... maybe it is a good thing he left. Of course we might be dealing with this issue for longer than we thought - but it is getting resolved, just not in a timeline that fits most of our desires.
he eluded to this in our conversation. The numbers will be there once reported. It would be nice to see them in black and white though...
We are a $4 million dollar company currently. Our market - globally - is over $10 billion and growing.
If we can capture ONLY 1-2% of this market initially - and get investors to understand this - we move from .03 to over a buck toot sweet. From there the sky is the limit. MORDIS will help with our valuation.
you might be right. 9 then .08 then .07 then .06 will be your next chance to buy...
I might jump back in at .04-.07 range...
I only cleared about 600% - sold at .28. I am not complaining. It is interesting to hear all of these - must be clueless "investors" - cry about their inability to make some money on this. Now they are crying like little babies. These are the same people who did not bother to to look into anything about this co. or those running it, before they hit the BUY button. And they continue to share their ignorance by crying about their own stupidity. Quite a reflection on todays society. No one thinks they should be accountable for their own decisions any more - good or bad...
quite a few people MADE 300-1000% on their money in the last week. Too bad for you.
no they are not. I AM a big boy and I am back on the side waiting for .08 or below. It will happen again. easy money
did you vote for Obama because he told you you were going to get free health care ?
I suppose you did.
Do you feel violated by that lie ? I suppose you don't.
you - are - a - fool. grow up little baby boy.
How typical that too many blame everyone but themselves for being an idiot. idiot.
