Aetna is buying Humana so eventually the coverage will be the same for both. I had a cologuard test and it was negative but it didn't matter to me since I would pay for it out of pocket of it wasn't covered. It wasn't covered but I never got a bill. One of my employees husband also had the test and likewise they never got a bill. They called exact sciences and asked about their bill and exas said that they were actively trying to get the insurance to pay for it. We both have bc/bs ppo of Illinois.
I surmise from this that they typically don't bill insured patients and are actively trying to get all insurance companies to pay for cg. Probably a good strategy in the long run.
there were no "tells", just the slow drifting of all biotechs into the summer followed by the taskforce recommendation. All doctors take those recommendations with a grain of salt and once medicare approves a cpt code, ALL insurers follow. You can wish this down to five but the reality is this will return to its previous highs by end of 2016. half a billion ex cash for this co is joke! I'll be enjoying watching you guys cover...
It seems Conroy just converted stock options into shares .There was a decrease of 81000 in the number of outstanding options and a subsequent increase of 81000 directly held common shares.
You shorts are clueless. Actually it might make sense to sell puts at these levels!
As of 11/13 it was 25 million+. So how many shorts closed out their position over the last two weeks???
Not many...and I'm glad. Obviously very few are in the medical profession.
They also used to do exploratory laparotomies but that went by the wayside the same way screening colonoscopies will and will only be performed after a positive cologuard test.
By the way secreting one, when was your last colonoscopy? You are probably looking forward to the next one and are preparing by practicing with some plugs!!!!
Yes, the great majority of those that tested positive will be forever grateful to cologuard for saving their lives, which is exactly what it was meant to do. And I'm sure those patients will be great spokespeople for the product!!!
potential longs waiting for tax loss selling, shorts waiting to cover for tax loss selling,,,
reality is tax loss selling has already occurred, so this is an explosive situation.
15 by January options expiration.
this will be fun to watch!!!!
you short clowns don't even realize what's coming...
I love watching the shorts keep on shorting more shares, after a while they won't be able to keep the price down.
I can see from your posts, rehashing all the boiler plate company disclosures, that you are starting to doubt yourself and your short position. I would too. The risk/reward ratio is not in your favor, my friend, and every passing day that the stock stays at these levels with more shorts jumping in just adds fuel to the fire.
I'm thankful that I was able to buy 60k shares at an average price of 8.25 and sell 450 contracts of the Jan 15 puts at an average price of $2.5. This one got away from me in early 2015 when I sold too soon and I'm not making that mistake again.
I'm a physician over the age of 50 who needed to be screened for crc but was in no mood to be scoped...did my cologuard test last month and I'll repeat it in two or three years. There will resistance in the medical
community implementing this test, but it's as close to a non brainier as one ever gets in medicine.
Lastly, I want to thank the uspstf panel for their recommendation without which this would still be trading much higher. And no practicing physician adheres to their recommendations, anyway! I recently checked my psa even though that's also not "recommended".
I'm going to sit back and watch you secret your foul discharge with great pleasure as you start to lose your shirt for being such an obnoxious idiot....
from oct 15 go oct 30, 1 million more shares were shorted with the stock trading those two weeks between 7 and 9... now there are more than 26 million shares short. Who are these people, what are they thinking? this will be fun to watch, the growth will be exponential in the number of tests ordered in the US and around the world... all the shorts will be toast!!!
they have enough money in the bank until they are profitable regardless of what Victorias discharge says!!!
