If SNY hadn't dragged this whole thing out for so long we would not be under the pressure that we are now to make a deal. My bet is this will not come into play because of the recent news of mystery blind company we are now involved with.
If there really is a relationship with Allen money will be the least of the problems for MNKD and no longer an issue.
The manipulation here and the holding of the price under $1 some how reminds me of crooked gambling and the mafia. Do these guys wear mask? How about black hats so we can tell the good guys from the bad guys.
Without any news we will continue to be controlled. I don't see why we couldn't release news now though. Unless there is an agreement with some company dictating we can't release news.
What happened to $50/share price we were supposed to get if the agreement was in fact agreed to so long ago?
How come when you see nothing but buying for what seems to be forever the ask never moves up. But when a few thousand shares sell it drops in seconds. I guess MNKD must be a huge threat to BP. Maybe more than I thought.
However, its controlled buying to maintain the under a $1 level.
Did you ever notice that every thing about this company is always tomorrow or next week or next month or 6 months from now? It's beginning to get boring to even me. However, many won't sell for fear that as soon as they do news will be announced or a buyout will occur. The lack of return on Investment is not a good cloud to be under though.
prmco, a lot of what you wrote is very true and meaningful. It's almost like Matt is a one man fire department trying to put out more fires than he is able to. Maybe what the company needs is more people at the executive level working at under the direction of Matt to begin moving the company forward. Just seems to me we have a big nut or two to crack within MNKD. Maybe many nuts. Many of the stockholders bought in years ago and it has just taken much longer than thought to even get this far. Maybe that is because we are bucking the huge establishment of FDA, shorts, an the rest of the BP world associated with diabetics. I know I have not been here nearly as long as some investors so I can understand their impatience without any return but plenty of paper losses on their investment. However some hate to give up after all this time. Can you imagine selling your shares today and Monday the company gets bought out after 10 years or so of waiting? How much of a return do class action people win in a suit? Not nearly enough. Might as well wait it out but in the mean time they have a right to voice their opinion. For those that don't want to read it they should skip over the post.
I guess now we know why the stock didn't stop trading and why the stock was so easy to control A/H. If there is no news there is no pressure and no movement of the stock price.
Yes the control is relentless. If the company wants the stock to move it has to begin releasing more news or leak it more often. They play it to close to the vest imo.
