Does PLUG have and FC sites near Joliet well maybe. Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) today announced plans to open a nearly 500,000-square-foot fulfillment center in Joliet, Ill. The site, which will create 1,000 full-time jobs when it opens, is the company’s first in the state.

Amazon employees at the fulfillment center will process smaller items, such as books, electronics and consumer goods.

Home Depot Inc. (HD) has agreed to buy Interline Brands Inc., a direct marketer of repair products, for $1.63 billion in cash, in a move to expand its distribution network.
The deal is expected to add to Home Depot's(HD) earnings this year.
Jacksonville, Fla.-based Interline adds a distribution network of more than 90 locations, including those in Canada and Puerto Rico, Home Depot(HD) said.
The deal is expected to be closed before November.
In addition, Home Depot Canada President Bill Lennie has been named executive vice president of outside sales.
In May, Home Depot(HD) reported strong sales growth helped by healthy spending among wealthier Americans in an improving housing market.
