  • The index that best represents "the juniors " is really starting to take off . At some point VZ. has to blink. I can't imagine that we will loose it is now just a question of when and how large the reward will be and or deal that the Chinese will offer ....My sense is that we are very very close here. A major rally in gold should precipitate the end!

You are probably right I am always looking for an inflection point, more than likely that we won't see any signs of the DECISION till it is announced.....

That is encouraging I bought a few shares last week because the end is much closer than we think......

DNN will release news early in the AM . My bet is that forth coming drill results etc. should be interesting....

Especially if the spot price can begin it's long expected rise. U308 is way to cheap right here and right now!

Look at what other u308 stocks have done in recent days could this be the start of THE RALLY?

We will see very early in the morning some news from DNN. I try to be as diligent as possible and am willing to share knowledge when it is possible. I called IR today to see when there would be the next PR ....

Knowledge and the truth are a powerful combination. Next up will be results from Waterbury....if those are exceptional then CCJ will be almost forced into taking over DNN . In fact the higher the CCJ stock price goes the more likely they do a stock deal with CCJ.

  • Checkout major holders of NHTB, guess who is the largest institutional holder.... it is PBCT! There position in the bank is fairly recent could it be that they are beginning to circle Lake Sunapee's wagon? I would love comments- oh fair disclosure my current share position would be in the top 5 or 6 holders as well..... needless to say but am in NHTB for the long haul which could have been shortened by PBCT loading up on the shares. A take over by PBCT makes probably the most sense because of the synergies that can be achieved via a takeover. Many branches could be closed and real estate owned could be sold, and management at NHTB axed. What other suitor is better?

    Interesting development with NHTB

Checked with PBCT and found out that they hold the NHTB shares in an investment fund that they have created for their private wealth clients. Close but no cigar!

I have been watching this stock for the last two months when will we know about the trial results?

Recently had an extensive discussion with Doug regarding our current status. So where we are right now is a final request for all legal expenses from both parties has taken place several weeks ago. That request has been made because there are no other legal proceedings for this arbitration it is DONE!
So that next thing we can expect to happen is that the panel will announce that they are closing the case ( that announcement can come before or after both parties submit there expenses etc. especially if VZ has continued to drag it's feet). When they announce that they have closed the case that means a decision is imminent and will be issued FAIRLY soon.
I pressed Doug on when he thought the news will break and between the lines I got the impression that we will have our AWARD within the next 90-120 days or so. He thinks that a conservative award with out interest and or fees could be in the zip code of $1,700,000,000 and go as high as 3.5 B if the judges are completely righteous!!!
And that is all I have to say about that

Doug did not stipulate a date for legal costs or case closing notices. My impression is that the jig is up and it is very near the end of this long strange trip.

One thing doug did mention is that the decision could be as long as 500-800 pages that will need to be translated into spanish/english so that will take a bit of time to be completed.

We now sit at the one foot line so the race has been run it's just a matter of breaking the "red tape". Based on a 1.7 B settlement we will be looking at about $22 bucks a share less any taxes and other cost considerations not sure of loss carry forwards and how that will effect the final proceeds and the time and manner in which they will be paid to share holders. Still a few mysteries left for us to ponder all of those seem like fun things to DREAM ON.

    Every good boy deserves favor.....

I believe that the panel has asked for all legal costs etc. so that the case is near closing per our call late last week. The largest time block in front of us is the translations and the judges issuing their decision.....If you would like I can call DB to confirm that one point, also want to ask about tax loss carry forwards.
