Unless they hit the sell button really fast they all got royally scr*wed. If you ask me they got what they deserved buying up there on such an obvious pump job. H*ll, I couldn't even pull the trigger when it was in the mid $2.00 range. I don't have level ll so tough to know what coming down the pike and when the tide turns, so I avoid high momentum trades like this...way too stressful
They usually come down as hard as they go up. The sell off was a perfect mirror of the run up. Check out the 2 day chart. I find all of this micro bio mania quite amusing...PMBD, ISR, AVEO...market masturbation at it's finest
A few things I like about this company 1) plenty of cash 2) no debt 3) high % of solid institutional investors 4) Carl Icahn is a major holder 5) MarketEdge gives it a LONG rating. Without knowing a thing about this company, I like the players.
What cheap shot and intentional deception are you referring to, ironbrain? I was simply passing along what I saw in "early pm" for both MNGA and PBMD so take your post and sh*ve it. I have no interest in deceiving anyone.
Good morning heartache. Not sure how this happened on 62000 shrs traded in early pm so far
I agree...impatient daytraders moving onto the next momentum play. I think there's lots of news coming down the pike for this company soon, as well as the recent buzz.
Second Top 10 U.S. Utility Company Meets with MagneGas Management, Schedules Formal Demo and Testing TAMPA, Fla., May 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- MagneGas Corporation ("MagneGas" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: MNGA), a leading technology company that counts among its inventions a patented process that converts liquid waste into MagneGas(R) fuel, announced today that it successfully completed a MagneGas2(R) presentation to a second top ten utility company in the United States. Formal demonstration and testing has been scheduled for June. In February, MagneGas2(R) was accepted by one of the nation's top 5 utilities as a replacement for acetylene because of its improved productivity and safety features.
bonanza...yes that is true, but why bother buying TVIX until it's patently obvious we are headed for a more significant correction and have to make up for losses at higher buy ins? I know that's a tough call to make and everyone has to place their bets at some point. Just don't feel the fear in the markets yet and in fact the big $$$ is still on a shopping spree as irrational as it all is.
Good luck on the latest short, electro. I would've waited until it made a move back over $1.00...if it ever does...but nobody on this board is in any position to argue with your successful run of shorting this sucker. I bought in the mid .93 range today and decided to bail around the same area. Can't even trust we'll get a pop at these levels before it dives further. H*ll, I'm not even asking for a major correction...just a small market breather. Can't seem to get even that these days.
Now you'll have to pay an even higher brokerage fee with some brokers to buy this...if the thought ever crosses your mind to do so. I found out I had 1K shares in my acct that I didn't know about. Thankfully, I got rid of them in PM at 1.05 to avoid losing even more $$$. There's no joy in TVIX-ville
Hey monkey...are you currently in UVXY and if so, at what price did you buy it? The scenario you are describing would be a major market correction and I hate to tell ya...ain't gonna happen any day soon. I understand what a mess the financial markets are in and have lost considerable $$$ betting against the S&P futures on TVIX. Just had to wake up and smell the coffee. The big $$$ continues to pour into the markets and will continue to do so. The Fed is banking on it. What's going to scare the $$$ out of the market in the foreseeable future, in your opinion? Greece didn't...the bond mess didn't...interest rates are not likely to go up any day soon. The worlds financial systems and economies are a mess. I get that and many do, but the US market will be the last bubble to burst and a resilient bubble it has proven to be.
No I didn't buy TVIX, beachbum. I was watching the Friday AHs movement on XIV and didn't see any selling, so unless there is some scary news over the weekend, I'm thinking we'll see a continued run up next week.
Hey rego...miss you here! Pissy dropped in the other day too. Hope you're well and making bank on something. Needless to say, nobody is making any $$$ with TVIX. Will keep an eye out, but in no hurry to try to bottom call again and regret it.
