It never ceases to amaze me that people hold stocks that underperform for sooo long. On the one hand I have to commend you and others like you, for your belief and commitment to a company. On the other hand, we are here to make money and it does make sense often times to cut your loses and move on. GL
Crawling back...should've just held, but got scared and sold yesterday AHs and PM this morning. Lost $$$ and should've stayed put. Back in for the ride back up to where we were before this offering hit and beyond.
Harry...I have no position in INO atm but I couldn't help but respond to your posts here. First of all, if you are as successful as you claim...why all of the vitriol and bitterness to anyone who is long here? You come across as a guy with a HUGE chip on his shoulder...not like a guy that's making a quiet killing on the stock market. Just go about your business making bank and save your misplaced anger issues for your therapist, jeez! You sound like you didn't get acknowledged enough for being "right" as a kid. Just saying...
There is always some measure of dilution with stocks prices at these levels. If you believe in the company and where it's going, then a little dilution along the way shouldn't concern one so much as long as the company is making all of the right moves. I am currently a holder and have only the messages on this board and a 5 out of 5 star rating from Motley Fool, plus a positive earnings surprise from Earnings Whisper to go on. Other than that, I haven't done any further DD, but I have been watching this stock for awhile now and it seems to me to be a good place to park some $$$.
I'm hearing rumors of good news next week . Why would anyone dump 200,000 shrs at this level, anyway. Looks like a healthy bounce to me.
New York, NY / ACCESSWIRE / April 4, 2014 / SeeThruEquity, a leading New York City based independent equity research and corporate access firm focused on smallcap and microcap public companies, today announced that it has issued a quarterly update on Dejour Energy, Inc. (NYSE MKT: DEJ) for fiscal Q4 2013 and FY 2013.
Highlights of the quarter and year are as follows:
Dejour reported gross revenues of $9.3mn in 2013, a 35% increase over $6.9mn in 2012.
Dejour had positive cash flow from operations of $521k for 2013, compared with a $2.2mn cash deficiency from operations in 2012.
Dejour reported average production for 2013 of 504 barrels of oil equivalent per day (“BOEPD”), a 35% increase over average production of 372 BOEPD for 2012.
In 4Q13, Dejour had average production of 620 BOEPD, a 94% increase over average production of 319 BOEPD in 4Q12.
Dejour reduced its G&A expenses ($/BOE) by 57% and 29% year over year for 4Q13 and 2013, respectively.
Dejour reported a year-end 2P reserves value of $115.6mn, an increase of 16.8% over the 2P reserve value of $98.9mn at December 31, 2012.
“We are encouraged by these results as 2013 was a critical year for Dejour as it successfully initiated a 4-well drilling program at its Kokopelli, Colorado flagship property. This program increased the number of “proven undeveloped” Williams Fork drilling locations for future development by 51%, to 139 locations. The company’s report of the increase in 2P reserves values was also a positive. We are maintaining our price target of $0.53 on the name,” commented Ajay Tandon, CEO of SeeThruEquity.
Come on rbarry...give us the source. I'm in DEJ...hoping for the best...I'm curious what the source of this article is too. It's a great quote and I hope it pans out for us all. GL
Maybe to get a quicker fill on the sell. Hate it when you only get a partial fill on buys or sells, so liquidity is always a consideration when doing either. You could just as easily save yourself $500 as lose it if things re popping or dropping quickly. Just a thought...
PLUG needs the cash to expand operations and productivity to meet HUGE increasing demand. Wherever this ends up n the next few sessions, you can expect another explosion to the upside. Don't base your investment decisions on PLUGs next earnings report because it's not going to be positive. Anyone that knows this company can tell you that. It's all about contracts and earnings down the road...and not that far down the road either.
Funny you mention T1...he and The Magician on the Lion board are why I bought in...and reading messages here...not to mention the Zack's estimates/ratings etc. Look...I have no idea where this is going, however I was willing to take a risk because of the low pps and what seems to be a brighter future for this company. Also sector is good right now...or so I last heard. What is your longer term take on this company hardtoget and do you currently have a position here? No doubt todays price action was a bit disconcerting...unless you bought near or at the lod. However, we all know how quickly all of that can change. Can you or anyone explain how rumors of a JV might be driving prices down? I don't understand the mechanics of that kind of situation.
