you forgot that Win 7 PCs are selling just fine. Also, as some have suggested, MSFt can also add another version of Win 8 , called somthing like Win 8 Classis or Win 8 Desktop. But, for the time being, MSFt wants to try its best to get its WIn Start Screen into as many hands as possible.

As far as PC goes, anyone i know who had a PC before still have a PC, and PC is the most powerful among all computing devices!!!! Do not be stupid!!

  • This looks good!!! Way to go, MSFt!!!!

Now, get those sexy and useful Surface PCs into the hands of governemnt agencies!!!!

  • with the shares 10-15% discount, great time to use the dividend to buy more shares. SOme will get the money today, and some will get the money tomorrow. hope these will drive the shares over the coming two days!!!

now, MSFt is incresing Surface Production and then distribute them at all Best Buys and Staple stores. This will increse overall hydrid supply problem, also getting more OEMs into action!

Expect 3-5 millions Surface RT and Pro sales in 1st quater of 2013!!!! Revenue conibution to MSFT - $2-4 billions in a single quater!!!

MSFT dividend was increased by some 30% in 1011, then incresed by some 15% iin 2012, so we could be loking at a 15% increase for 2013, so we can have divideend at 4% for the curent share price. Sweet!!!!

How many big companies in the world have increse dividend this much each and every year, at 3.5%, not many!!!!

i see many customers at both Betsbuy and Staples. The key is, togather, we are looking at 3000 store with experts in sales and computer technicans. These surely is the way to go, plus MSFT stores providing the training.

Every big idea starts small, and with the right products like Surface RT and Pro and many new versions, MSFT will be able to fight and win!!!

for someone like me, i just need a device to do simple work and use the internet, Surface RT is perfect for me!!! It is cheap, and it does all my work, and it has long battery life. Most importantly, it is a laptop as well as a tablet. It is light and it goes whereever i go or my kid goes.

What you need is a little bit of resoning. Of course you do not have any since you probably dropped out of grade school.

Mark this post here, Surface RT as well as Surface Pro will be a major revenue contributer for MSFTin 2013, possibly toping 5-10 billions$!!!! Most conservative estimates put Surface sales at about 10-15 millions unites, with distributions like Best Buy and Staples.

When you think about it, when Surface can use the kickstand and if it can connect to a big moniter, Surface becomes a desktop, a laptop and a tablets. It is all three in One device, and that is the most economical way to do computing at each and every house. I know thi swill be my nest compueter!!

I think, now with Surfaces RT and Pro son at Best Buy sand Staples and many other top retailers around the wordl, we are looking at Surface sales in the many millkons in 2013, so revenure contributuion fro Surface to MSFt will be in many billions. Thjis could be the start of a new Apple in the making !!!!

M$FT ready to EXPLODE to the upside

the stock will go up because fundementals are strong,, and the company is taking a chance and fight for standdization of user interface across all form factors of computing. Nobody is able to pul this otgather, except MSFT. How nice it will be for every one when you and everyone in your family have the same user interfac like WIn 8 from desktops, to latops, to tablets , to smartphoens, and to X-boxes??? I thnk every parent and all on earth will love it. When Bil Gates is on to somthing, he is serious!!!

As for all corporations and governemnts, standardizations and productivity is the key. Now, the messy we get with all thrse different andros and iphones, the more urgent we have to standarze on WIndows!

    MSFT UPGRADE

recent dowsn slide present a great entry point for adding these shares. earning per share for the coing year is 3.2-3.4$. So, even at share price $34, the shares are still trading at too low, when comared the average S&P 500 which is trading at average p/e 14. MSFt is triple AAA, and it has one of the highest level of cash at hand. This is a perfect example of a great buy if Peter Linch looks at it.

lets see, total tablest in use is some 200 millions, then even 0.13% is a nice number when you consider that Surface is out just a month or so ago. Firstgeneration product and for the first month. This is fresh new revenue streat and it is only the start. Every big thing starts small. New models, diffferent power and different sizes, are coming out soon. Now with distribution at Best Buy and Staples, this could be the beginging of some great things to come from MSFT!!!

Also, remember, there are many Windows RT models coming out from all top OEMs, so the total WIndows tablest are gopng to be bigger than anyone can think of.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

unlike Ipad, Surface Rt as well as Surface Pro are laptop-s as well as a tablets. You pay for a lptop, and you get a tablet for free. The sales guys at Stap[les and Best Buys know better!!!

Best Buy stores and Staple Stores, togahter they make some 3000 stos or more. Now, with help from technicians and sales experts, we shall see some very nice sales number for Surface Rt over the coming months. Especially, when the Surface Pro comes out, MSFt got two models along with the different covers, we are looking at potential sale sboast of billions for MSFt over the coming 2 quaters alone.

    me too.

WIll use much of these dividend to buy more MSFt since the shares are so low here. Easy 20% gian over coming year, if not wihtin 3 months!

    Buy low, sell high!

  • we have got the busiest 3 weeks of the year for retails, Togather Saples and Best Buy have more than 3000 retails stors in the US alone. The techincians at Staples and best Buy will help to sell the Surfaces in this critical Christmas seasion, so we cold be looking at a major sales boast for Surfaces this quater and a major upward revision for Surface RT and Surface Pro in th in 2013. Plus, more Surface models are coming out!

extra revenue from Saples and Best buy,

this quater, $500 millon to $1 billion

    1st quater 2013 - $1.5-3 billons

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • this will surely help sell many millions of Surface computers each quater, especially when Surface Pro starts shipping.

billions of revenue for MSFt each quater over the coming year!!!

I see MSFt launching more Surface models in 2012, different form factors, different sizes and different designs!!! Great way to go, MSFT!!!

i look at eps over the last 5 or 10 years, MSFT has done great.

as for share price, donot never buy anything that has p/e 30. if you break this rule, you have only yourself to blame. Good thing is, now MSFT has effective p/e just 5-6, so this is the perfect time to load up!!!!
