The management sounds positive? It is a rare occurrence when mgmt. actually spins future activity towards a negative outcome. I regret not selling off my shares when SPR hit 34-35 prior to their last earnings. If they are locked into contractual obligations with BA & there is no wiggle room to renegotiate then what can mgmt. do? I've been disappointed too many times to continue to keep my fingers crossed in the hope that SPR might reap some of the benefits that other companies in the Aerospace arena are making. Just a bad choice on my part. My intent is to sell as soon as SPR starts moving up as it approaches it's next earning period in expectation that as a company they can actually make some money.
Best advice for you is to cover & move on. This stock will not let you sleep soundly at night. You are now pink salmon. Very small, very weak. Longs are Chinook. very big, very strong.
Feeling like a salmon yet? I need to get to 23 before I'm even. looking forward to your struggles .
What's a chard? I think it's a green leafy vegetable. Why are you on a finance board? And this from the jerk who has the audacity to criticize someone for their poor English. Ever hear about those people who live in glass houses? D.A.
I've owned SPR for several years now Before last weeks earnings I was up about 5 grand. I'm about even now.. Now I'm just a bit confused as to why in the midst of the Airline manufacturing boom years that SPR whose mgmt. continously announces huge charges to their bottom line seemingly every other quarter would be considered a great buy? What allows you & your DD to determine that their continuing cost over run charges will suddenly come to a halt? Statements like yours & any other posters that point to a more productive future for SPR are misleading, self serving, stupid & ignorant. If there ever was a company that you surely couldn't predict a thing about then SPR is that company. You know that social media is surely not what it's advocates attempt to glorify it as when it gives voice to dummies like yourself.
Better change your pads Dimmy. When will Dimmy's like you learn not to dispense your stupidity so liberally. Anyway yer bleeding all over the placr, it's time to change yer nickname . How's DimmyKotex? Or just Kotex?
Will you change your handle now from Stock Guru to Stock Boo Boo? If you think that people might believe whatever a body writes on these forums you are fooling yourself. I own 2200 shares of this company for many years now. I bought in at between 7 & 8 bucks but I've been living with that loss for years nowq So really between yesterday & today's price action I've only lost about 1,100 bucks. Because I've owned this company for so long the hurt doesn't seem so terrible. All week the trading seemed to me to be rather high for CBLI & this I suspect is the cause. It would be interesting to know whether the company had any previous inkling prior to today's notice & if they did then how many principles put their shares on the block. It would just satisfy my belief that you & I are just the little guys when stuff like this occurs & that the playing field is never equal.
Borg Shmorg. When you start believing the B.S. thrown around on message boards you're in deep trouble. Everyone is anonymous, everyone has their own agenda. What people say might sound good, even quite up lifting but unless you're a confirmed cultist it always pays to spend the time & do the research & come up with your own conclusions.
Another positive argument for youth in Asia. Can't imagine your ma & pa are innocent in your upbringing. Never a shortage of sad individuals twirling to display their ignorance. Bravo Dimmy!
Wow. See how easy it is to fool NSB (not so bright) folks. Half wits at best. I don't even think that throwing a few billion toward the education budget would help people of this ilk. But this is what America has become, a nation of overweight fools trending toward obese morons. I sure don't think it's a good idea to loosen restrictions on gun laws.
Can't help but laugh about how all the idiots seem to have congregated here on the BA message board. It's enlightening & confusing at the same time. What could cause so many disaffected & sad folk to come here to vent their unhappiness? Religious nuts also seem to gravitate here to the BA site. I can only speculate that planes get ya closer to heaven. Could that be that simple? Or maybe it's that there aren't any Gun shows happening on Tuesdays.
Attaboy! I hope you didn't use this board as a part of your due diligence. Now, with all things being the same with CBLI as far as their prospects are concerned I'd say you.made a pretty good deal. Far better than I was able to procure. Far better than 95% of today's shareholders. CBLI is a good example of how long it takes in the U.S. to bring a drug to market while providing the safe guards that the public needs. Whether you like the system or not an "investors" should become acquainted with the reason drug companies represent the original meaning of long teams investing.
