" It's only gained back more than 50% since its low for the year"
Need to correct your math here. Low of year was $2.55. Currently trading at $6.48. That's a 154% gain.
It's called "sell on the news".
Long-term the bill is good for SUNE and solar. But short-term it might sell off since the catalyst for rally has passed.
candysamples123, you are now working overtime bashing this stock today.
It looks to me like markets are attempting a recovery from intraday low. That will only help SUNE.
What level did you short at?
Other solars are slowly recovering now. Let's see what SUNE can do today.
I rationalized not selling at the opening spike telling myself that I was only playing with house money now. That was a big mistake. The other solar stocks (with the exception of SCTY) are tanking now along with the market selloff. I would be glad if SUNE can recover to $6.47 (yesterday's high) but I highly doubt it.
My order executed at $5.73. Remember folks, this is a live trade I'm posted. I have a +82% gain buffer so I'm not too worried today.
For those who don't give a *^$^, please ignore my posts.
I placed order to buy back shares at $5.73 as a day-trade. Let's see if that executes.
$5.73 was the pre-market high. I figure if markets stay positive, it should not drop below that level today.
mayank_usa, I would like to know what your entry is. For a stock that is still down -85% from 52-week high, the shorts still have large gains and nothing to panic about.
Before you accuse me of short, I'm long with average from $3.33. But you don't see me constantly pumping this stock. Are you pumping this stock because you got in at the high-end and desperately want to get out?
It's not just Apple. It's Amazon (with ability to download content for later viewing), HBO Now (talk about original content!), Hulu Plus (now without commercials), Sling-TV (with ESPN), Showtime, etc... Each additional service will eat into Netflix's subscriber base.
I was off by 7% on GPRO yesterday. However, that doesn't negate my point that you had sizable profit and should've covered. This stock is very volatile and can go either way.
